413 Tarpon is a luxury home and is decorated to capture the interest of families who prefer space and high quality furnishings in a vacation experience. 413 Tarpon has 5 bedrooms and 4 baths, a large well equiped gourmet kitchen with bar seating for 6, dining table seating for 10 and seating for 6 more at the large table on the screened in porch. There are 4 king beds, 1 queen size bed, one day bed with trundle and two day bed loungers, the home will sleep up to 14. The front of the house has an elevated porch with rocking chairs. The master bedroom has a large walk in closet and spacious bathroom with his and hers vanities. There is a private bar area adjoining the master suite with private deck to the front facing ocean and to the rear of the home on the master level a large sun deck with four chaise lounges providing a great spot for private sunbathing facing the canal. A spiral staircase off master bar area leads vacationers up to the rooftop for viewing of the ocean, beautiful sunrises, breathtaking sunsets and brilliant observation at night for star gazers. The master bedroom has a 60" flatscreen and the main level has an 80" flatscreen and terrace level has a 52" for viewing your pleasure. All the rooms are designer decorated with local art and the home has ceiling fans throughout. There is ample parking via a 3 car garage and large driveway. The backyard is large enough for a volleyball court and has a seawall, a dock which allows ocean access, floating pier head and boat lift. Beach access number 24 is directly across the street and the beautiful beach and ocean is only steps from our front door. Fishing and crabbing at the dock on the tidal canal is very good with a cleaning station and night lighting for all you late night fishermen. 413 Tarpon is owner operated by a full time resident and lover of Fripp Island. We hope you choose our home for your vacation, this home is decorated and furnished to provide space and comfort for a party of 14 who enjoy being together without feeling on top of each other.

About Greg Jackson

My wife and I have enjoyed Fripp island since 2001 and are full time residents. We are pleased to have purchased 413 Tarpon in 2014 and now want to share it and Fripp island with vacationers who are looking for that special place to bring family and friends. We have been in business for ourselves since 1990 and enjoy life now at the Fripp pace of life. We have two teens that also keep us busy, our daughter attends Beaufort Academy and our son is a sophomore at College of Charleston.

What makes this house unique

Beach access is across the street from our home and the you can be on the beach in just 100 steps. 413 Tarpon multiple decks and a rooftop deck, and is one of only a handful of Fripp homes that has this feature. The canal side of the home also has a large screened in porch. Fishermen will enjoy the boat lift and dock for fishing and convenience to the ocean and backwater cruising.

This is our second year renting this house at Fripp Island and it is a truly amazing home! The Jacksons have included everything your family needs for a wonderful beach vacation: from beach chairs and beach towels to a kayak and corn hole they have it all in their lovely home. The well- appointed kitchen is lovely place to cook and spend time with your family. There are several dining areas as well as multiple gathering areas for eating, playing games and relaxing. Their beautifully decorated home is comfortable and chic at the same time. Of course the roof top deck is a favorite spot for early morning coffee and evening drinks. Thank you so much Greg for another amazing vacation!!

This is our 2nd stay at 413 Tarpon and it was even more magnificent than the last time. Greg and his wife have completely redecorated and redone much of the house in 5-star fashion. Everything you touch and see is top-notch and top quality. All the amenities are there for you. The roof top deck was spectacular for sunset viewing and since we were there for the 4th of July, it made for fantastic fireworks watching! Our son parked his boat at the dock, we used the kayaks to explore Pritchards Island, the nicely appointed kitchen made it easy for us to feed our large crew of hungry teenagers. Greg was always a text away to answer any questions, and was on the island if we needed him. It was a fabulous week in a super house and we will be staying there again next year for the 4th of July week. Thank you Jackson family. We really appreciate your hospitality!

Isle of Palms

FABulous Weekend

This is the 2nd year we stayed in Greg's house - we've been coming to Fripp for the last 14 years for our annual girls weekend. The home is amazing - beautiful, spotlessly clean and well-appointed. The rooftop desk is a wonderful spot for happy hour. Kayaks and plenty of bikes are also provided and it's a 2 second walk to the beach. The house is perfect for families or any large group - there's plenty of room and the kitchen is fantastic for those who like to cook.

Perhaps best of all is Greg - he is extremely available and responsive. He came and met us at the property to make sure we were all settled in. We had some very minor problems and he immediately sent over someone to help us. Overall, this is a fantastic property. As a testament, we are returning again next year - 3 in a row!

Amazingly clean and well appointed did not have a single family member that did not complement the bedding and how well they slept.(Even my mother in law!!) Great location the roof top was great!Everyone enjoyed the kayaking and the crabbing. Thank you to the Jackson's who were gracious enough to open up at their home to us.

Amazing house and amazing owners!

My family and I went to Fripp on the 18th to a house where we had a terrible experience with the property managers and wanted to leave. We found Gregs house, messaged him and he had this house sparkling and ready for us on an extremely short notice and met us in person the first day we got there. Greg couldn't have been a nicer and more accommodating person to rent from. We couldn't be happier with our experience at this house!

We were celebrating my husband's milestone birthday and settled on this home. It was wonderful!! We had 8 adults and 4 children ages 10-13. The 10 yr old boys were in heaven. They could fish, crab off the private dock, swim in the ocean (right across the street) and thoroughly enjoyed the multiple pools on Fripp Island as well. The house was spacious so we never felt like we were tripping over one another and the décor is far superior to rental homes you will ever find in this price range. We all enjoyed the screened porch and the rooftop deck, especially on the 4th! We would rent this home again in a heartbeat! The owner is gracious and accommodating and ready to help if you have any needs. One word of caution: make sure you rent your cart(s) in advance of arrival.
