About Vacasa, FL - Emerald Coast Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wifes family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Short walk to the beach. Condo was very clean and well maintained. We would definitely stay here again.

My stay

  • 3 of 5

It was perfect for the most part except some of the lights didn't work and the toliet had a hard time flushing and filling back up. Also in the bed rooms there is a window or door that let light in because there was no curtain so it was hard to fall asleep. The bed was ok. But On the plus side it was down the street from the beach and walking distance to restaurants and shops!

Overall it was a great experience.

Overall our experience with vacasa was great. The condo we stayed in was pretty nice and the kitchen area made it easy for us to make a few meals instead of going out constantly. We had close access to the beach and many pools to choose from. We were a little disappointed that after being told the maintenance guy would be there to work on one of the bedroom lights, it was never fixed. But I would recommend using vacasa for future vacations.

A good value. Nice but not amazing.

Overall we are very happy with the property (see below comments for some trouble areas). The beach was great, the water temp fantastic. A close walk to the beach, I'd say about 5 minutes. There is a hose by the front door to wash off the sand. The whole complex was very quiet and family friendly. I would recommend it, but it is sort of a budget rental. A nice, budget rental. More than adequate, but by no means lavish. Which was what we were looking for.

Room for improvement:

A few comments for improvement from my wife:

1. Replace the black front door mat...when you rinse the sand off and step on it with damp/wet feet, the black bleeds into your skin and gets tracked into the house!

2. Fix the towel rod in the lower-level bathroom...every time I washed my hands and tried to use the towel on the rod, the entire rod would fall off the wall.

3. Salad tongs would be a great addition to the kitchen.

A few more from me:

1. One of the chairs in the kitchen had a seat that was detached. Two of my kids fell out of the seat, at different times! Once they learned to be careful with the "tricky chair", no more incidents.

2. Yes, the towel rack in the upper bathroom is attached with duct tape, as a previous reviewer mentioned. But it is really tastefully duct taped, if you can believe it...

Owner's Response: We greatly appreciate receiving these comments. The mat has been removed, tongs have been purchased, and the chair and towel bars are scheduled to be fixed. Thank you!

Me my husband and four kids stayed for spring break the pool was close by us so that was very convenient for us it was a short walk to the beach I love the location and I like that it is quite so you don't have to be around all spring breakers I would suggest this place it's very family oriented.

Cleanliness is everything.

  • 2 of 5

One of the good parts about this house is it does have beach access through the neighborhood. Perfect for a SHORT getaway.

When my family and I arrived we went up stairs to get settled in, the sheets on the bed were not all that clean, towel rack in the bathroom is being held up by duck tape. Down stairs is the sofa bed of course, when we pulled it out there were about 2 Brown stairs on the lining sheet to the sofa bed. There was an old water bottle under the sofa also. Renovations should definitely be made at some point in renting this home out. The shower had brown stains in the tile, the ceiling looked as if it was going to come down in the bathroom due to water damage. The house overall is outdated. Needs a lot of TLC.
