The cottage is absolutely lovely which resulted in a great stay! Thanks to Sharon we ate yummy banana bread for breakfast. We highly recommend it for cleanliness, cuteness, and location.

Very nice and quaint. Very comfortable.

  • 5 of 5

We had a group of five women for a weekend getaway. The beds were very comfortable and the sheets were very soft. The house is small, but had several areas where you could have a little privacy. Easy walk to downtown. The owner was very welcoming. Would stay here again.

Enjoyed our stay

  • 3 of 5

Cottage was very comfortable. Comfortable sleeping room for six. Parking for more than one car was difficult and backing out of garage was very unsafe. Lack of enough hot water to enjoy bath tub spa was disappointing. We enjoy eating breakfast as a family but there wasn't room or chairs for six and kitchen supplies were lacking in comparison to other places we have stayed. We had a good time, weather was terrific, family time was special and that is what mattered most.

Owner's Response: Hi Jan, We are so very glad that you enjoyed your stay here at Cottage On The Hillside. I regret that every thing was not perfect, to warrant a "5 star" rating similar to other guests who have stayed here at the Cottage. In regards to the parking, everyone that comes to Eureka Springs realizes that one of the biggest issues here in this lovely city is indeed parking. Cottage On The Hillside does offer parking inside a garage, (very rare for Eureka Springs) and there is occasional parking across the street as we were sure to let you know before your arrival date. We also regret that the complete set of pots, pans, cups, plates and service for 6 people located with in the kitchen cabinets was overlooked. Our dinner table has a leaf available to accommodate 6 to 8 people, it is necessary to use some available "bench seating" from the bedrooms. We are grateful for your choosing Cottage On The Hillside here in Eureka Springs. We are glad that your family had perfect weather and made great memories together here in our lovely city of Eureka Springs. Sincerely Sharon
