Our Stay at Cottage on the Hillside

  • 5 of 5

Cottage on the Hillside is a charming cottage with lots of modern conveniences. I loved communicating with the owner, who provided little extras that were lovely. It was close enough to walk to downtown Eureka Springs and located in a wonderful neighborhood conducive to strolling and admiring all the beautiful old homes. We love coming to Eureka Springs and were especially delighted with our stay in Cottage on the Hillside. We however thought CRBO has excessive charges and would not go through them again.

Owner's Response: Thank you so very much for your kind words about our Cottage! We really strive to accommodate our guests to the fullest! I am thinking you were commenting on "VRBO" when you spoke about, "CRBO charges were very high"? I understand your thoughts on this subject and hope you may be able to work that out with "VRBO"! Thank you for staying with us and you all are welcome back any time!

Perfect location and so cozy!!

  • 5 of 5

Perfect Location; close enough to walk downtown but far enough away to not hear the "nightlife". This cottage was very clean, cozy and lacked nothing. Sharon was great from the time I booked the cottage, to pre-arrival, arrival and even the day after I left; she made sure we had great arrival instructions and checked in just enough to make sure we had everything we needed. I'll definitely stay here next time I return to beautiful Eureka Springs; I couldn't have asked for a more pleasurable stay.

Prime Location- A Lovely Home !

  • 5 of 5

This property is well-laid out and hospitable. The homemade cinnamon bread upon arrival was an added bonus. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the porch as we observed the day and Eureka Springs coming to life. We loved the porch swing! A nice selection of DVD's for movie enjoyment was in the living room. This is a great home-base for the eclectic shopping and sights of Eureka Springs! -Ann

Wonderful historic cottage.

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay in the Cottage on the Hillside. Sharon was a great hostess - welcomed us with fresh flowers, yummy cookies & mints on our pillows. We love old historic homes and this one did not disappoint. That said, there were a few unexpected surprises - re wonderfully updated bathrooms. Huge(!) spa tub and great shower. All the modern conveniences we love, but still full of character. Beds were super comfy, & I could have stayed curled up on the front porch with a good book for days. Very short walk downtown! Sharon - thanks again for sharing your cottage with us. We will be back! Sherry & Bill C.
