Great care and attention to detail was paid to assure that our guests would walk into the cottage and feel that they were in for a treat. Original woodwork, Douglas fir wood floors and a sunroom lend it character. A covered front porch with a swing for two, as well as a deck off the sunroom and master bedroom for a sunset BBQ. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the backyard next to the apple tree and carve your name into the table, it's our guest book!

We loved our stay and felt very comfortable. The cottage has its historic character and charm while having all of the modern conveniences. The gas logs were a great touch, and the front porch swing and picket fence created a very welcoming experience. The town of Sonora is quaint and fun to explore, with some great restaurants. We're glad to have found this special retreat and home to visit again in the future.
We came to Sonora for a family wedding and enjoyed this home for a weekend. The location was great and we enjoyed having the space to spread out. The kids loved the back porch and room with the hammock. The shower had enough hot water for 4 people. The kitchen was well equipped, but we didn't use it beyond storing water and leftovers. This would be a nice play to stay for a longer visit.
Exactly as I had imagined. So quaint and comfortable.
Had everything we needed. Plenty of space and so cute. Great customer service by Mike and his crew. I would definitely stay again. Close to town but set back a bit, so ideal really.
Great place and great location
Very roomy, all comfort features, clean, quiet. Easy walk to downtown restaurants.
Comfortable, clean convenient and cozy!
Hope to stay again soon!
Gem, indeed! We have a lovely time stay and even hope to make this an annual stop for our family! Everything was perfect! Charming house, everything we needed was easily accessible. Thank you!
Located in the heart of the Mother Lode, Sonora is an outdoor enthusiast dream. Lakes, rivers, hiking, rafting, rock climbing, fishing, you name it. Tons to do in the area including yosemite just an hour and a half away.
