About Peggy Chow
Owned by Mr. and Mrs. Chow, who bought the beach house as a vacation home and second-home for Family gatherings.
Peggy Chow purchased this House in 2003
Why Peggy Chow chose Hoodsport
There is no Wi-fi, phone, cable TV...just Family and the enjoyment of the 'quiet beauty' to be found in Hood Canal. The sunrises are breath-taking, the moon-rise inspires romance and procreation, and let the waves gently lull you to sleep as you forget the troubles you came here to escape!
What makes this House unique
Waterfront, large deck for gatherings and BBQ's, upper deck for private sun-bathing, and direct scuba-diving access from the back deck. Gather your own dinner from the beach at the foot of the stairs, or watch marine life from the water before you!

Relaxing and nice view
Great location and view right in Hoodsport, WA. It is walking distance to grocery store and some restaurants. The house is clean but does have a musty old house smell. Nice view through the big sliding glass doors, but they are hard to open as it does not open smoothly. Dated appliances and kitchen was not fully equipped.
Owner was nice and quick to answer questions and recommendations.
Thank you so much.
Great view, nice cottage.
Pros: Great view, Beach cottage on the hood canal. Located in Hoodsport, WA. Within walk distance of grocery store and a few shops. Very Clean and owner pleasant to deal with. Would recommend.
Cons: During summer does not get dark until 2130 and sunrise at 0500, there are no room darkening curtains in main bedroom. No cable tv or wifi. Would also recommend a king size bed in main bedroom that is normal height. Equipped with queen that is at ground level.
Beautiful setting, views, very clean and comfortable home.
The owner was very accommodating to our needs of kayaking. Challenging to put in and take out but possible. Big windows with lots of views, comfortable beds, just the right space for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Also, clean and a 10 minutes walk into town which we did every morning.
Thank you so much, hope you will come back someday.
Great experience - can't wait to go back!
Accommodations were great! Comfortable, clean and easy to access. Owner was gracious, quick to answer questions and recommended local eateries, grocery store etc. The view is fantastic. Fun to explore the beach at low tide. We would book again!
Thank you so much, love to have you to be guest. Please come back soon.
On the water with everything you need!
My husband and I stayed at this property for two nights to attend a wedding weekend at Lake Cushman. It was as advertised with steps down to the beach and a large deck to enjoy the sun. Due to the wedding activities we spent very little time here and didn't even use the kitchen to cook a meal. This is a clean and comfortable home with everything you need to begin vacationing right away. There are restaurants within walking distance and a grocery store as well. The only negative is that it is steps from highway 101 and the road noise is close.
The owner Peggy Chow was friendly and easy to work with. She always answered my calls or messages promptly.
Thank you so much. Hope in the future you will come back and really enjoy the water front home. The sun, the moon , the water and the seafood the beach can offer.
This house is terrific for a weekend getaway on the water. Lovely views, well-maintained an an excellent location. Walkable from town, but still get the feeling of being away from it all. Great access to Olympic National Park as well. My wife and our kids has a terrific time.
Thank you so much, so glad you and your family had a good time. Hope you will come back and revisit again.
