Why Mark Goldstein chose Broadkill Beach
We fell in love with this property the day we saw it. We have ever since celebrated many holidays, anniversaries, birthdays and other wonderful family time. Fig trees, fruit trees, blueberries, raspberries dot the property. There is also a cook's herb garden out the back door. Just a day or two at our home will convince you that this unique property is a place to come back to time and again. Whether it is the beach, the porches, the nearby restaurants, long bike rides, kayaking, the golf course, the nature preserves - there is something here for everyone.
What makes this House unique
Broadkill beach is a hidden gem on the eastern shore, a quiet residential community with friendly neighbors, a private beach just for residents and guests, full of families, dogs, bonfires and other great summer activities. It is quiet, relaxing and private, yet just a few minutes away from the popular towns of Lewes, Milton, and Rehoboth. This way you get it both ways - a quiet relaxing beach and lots of nearby restaurants and stores.
Pool / Spa
We loved the spacious house
The house was clean with open kitchen and living space for family gatherings. The kitchen was well equipped and we hand many meals at the house. The outside shower was convenient along with the hot tub, loved it. The beach was clean and just a short walk from the house. We had a wonderful meal at Po'boy's Creole restaurant. A short drive to Lewes, very cute town.
Best beach vacation ever....
Beautiful house, had everything needed. Quiet neighborhood, beach also quiet, left beach canopy, etc on beach all week. Broadkill store a must stop, awesome cinnamon and sticky buns on Tuesday, order early. The town of Milton, has everything we needed, groceries, drug store, liquor store, and Miltonaire pizza. Ate at Poor Boy, cajun restaurant, awesome meal. Will return next year, if available. Thanks to Mark for allowing out family to enjoy.
Warm and Cozy!
8 women in their 60s love Broadkill and refer to ourselves as 'The Broadkill Beach Broads'. We all loved Mark's home!! Even when the weather isn't so nice, everyone enjoys the space and comfort in the living area and around the kitchen table. Great place no matter what the weather!!
Thanks, Mark, for allowing Gracie (10 year old schnauzer) to be with us! She really is just one more of us!
lovely, clean, updated home steps from the beach
the home was a perfect fit for the 9 of us. beautiful kitchen, lovely decor, quiet - a great fit for the vacation we needed.
Excellent stay, beautiful house
My family and I stayed here with another family (7 people total) and had a great time. The house is beautiful and incredibly well-maintained. The rooms are large and comfortable. The kitchen and eat-in dining area worked perfectly for our group as we did a lot of cooking. The kids loved the hot tub and the location is steps from the beach. From the beginning to the end, Mark was extremely professional, helpful and responsive. We had a terrific stay and highly recommend this house!
Winter Beach Weekend
Great house for exploring Broadkill Beach in winter, for cooking great food in the beautiful kitchen, and for hanging out in the spacious living room. The hot tub was wonderful after winter walks exploring the beach and the Primehook Wildlife Refuge. And the house is not far from at least five brew pubs!
The property is in a quiet residential area nestled between a federal wildlife preserve and principal eastern shore bird sanctuary and sits just 400 feet from the beach. The beach is a private beach for residents and guests, and a great place for dogs, bonfires, families, fishing etc., as it has few of the restrictions in place at major public beaches in the area. Broadkill beach is 5 minutes from the waterfowl marsh and wildlife preserve, 10 minutes from downtown Milton and Lewes, and 20 minutes form downtown Rehoboth - great places to head for dinner or nightlife but close enough to return to the quiet of Broadkill!
