This is a 1 bed room main unit condo on the bottom (1st) floor in St James Plantation. This unit has WiFi, 2 brand new flat screen TV's, full kitchen, full bathroom, new washer/ dryer , 2 new central AC units and has been freshly painted in a neutral color.It is clean, quiet and pristine It also comes with new bamboo flooring inside the entire condo. There is a pool outside the front door and a wooded nature area off the back porch. It is a 10 minute drive to the private St James beach pavillion on Oak Island. The pavillion has an outdoor pool, chairs, tables, indoor and outdoor showers and is on the beach. It also has private parking for St James owners and their guests. If you would like rent this with a second bedroom please refer to VRBO listing # 666713. You can also choose a tee time at the Members, Players or Founders Club offering 63 holes of golf. The bedroom now has brand new flat screen HD TV and the living room has a brand new 40" flat screen HD TV for your pleasure. Great place, great hospitality, perfect location,
Our visit to St James was focused on advance planning to eventually relocate here and Gerry’s well-equipped condo was the perfect place to stay for that. The central location provided easy access to Waterway Park and the Marina (and Tommy Thompson’s) for the down time between meetings and the new Maxwell Drive gate makes getting to the St James Beach Club much quicker. Gerry also was very helpful and undestanding when we encountered travel delays caused by winter storm Skylar. Highly recommended.

This property is in a great location. Very, very clean condo. Modern amenities thought out. My wife and I shared a wonderful, much needed getaway. Thank you for sharing your home.

Gave this as a getaway for my daughter and son-in-law's 1st Anniversary and they came home raving how wonderful it was. The only negative was not about their unit but about the pool in the development but it really was no issue as they spent the time on the beach which was right there for them. The owner, Gerry Fox, was very responsive to any questions and have no hestitation giving this a 5-star recommendation !
Accommodations were okay but wifi was not available the whole stay.
Data service was not even available on our phones unless we were outside the unit. Owner said it had to do with recent storms but even after service call was completed we still had no signal. This is not acceptable in today's market to not have wifi available .
I contacted my friends living in St James and they were all having problems connecting to the internet because of the intense storms. I then contacted my cable provider and they said my router was affected so I replaced my router and the problem is solved. Things do happen at times that are out of our control but once I was notified of the problem I did the best I could do in a short amount of time.
Very comfortable condo, clean, well appointed and conveniently located.
We enjoyed our stay. The condo met all of our needs for our visit. Very clean and comfortable. We would consider this unit again when planning a return visit to St. James. As a suggestion, my wife and I could have used a second condo key. We were visiting friends and often times my wife and I went separate ways. One key presented a small problem.
Thankyou for your review and suggestion of having a 2nd key. What I suggest is that you put the key back in the lockbox when you leave and then you both would have access for who ever arrived back at the condo 1st
Great Condo and community!
We really enjoyed our stay May 2017. Condo was in great shape and clean. Reasonably priced. Well stocked and great location. Private beach access was nice too. Will definitely stay again. Owner, Gerry, was wonderful to work with!
Lisa was a very good renter and wrote some very nice comments about me and the condo which is always appreciated. When I contacted her and asked her why she only gave me 4 stars and not 5 star rating she thought she did put down 5 stars. When we tried to get it changed to 5 stars Vrbo said it was against their policy too change reviews. It should have been rated 5 stars anyways..
St James has 4 1/2 golf courses and also nearby is Lockwood Folly Golf Course.There are numerous tennis courts, fine dining at the restaurants in Southport. The condo is located just off St James drive near Members and Founders Golf Clubs. Your just steps to the entrance to the pool or a 10 minute drive to the private St James Beach Club on the beach at Oak Island. The address is 3030 Marshwinds Circle # 402, Southport, NC 28461

All PETS and SMOKING are strictly prohibited inside the condo at all times. There is a lockbox on the entrance door which houses the key for entry. You must contact the owner Gerry Fox at 973 586 3208 or by e mail at email@example.com prior to arrival for the lockbox code and WiFi password. The pool key and beach pass are kept inside the condo on the kitchen counter. If any keys or beach pass is lost it will result in the forfeiture of your damage deposit. Any violation of the pet or smoking policy will also result in the total loss of the deposit.
