Perfect little spot on the east side
The apartment was immaculate and the perfect location to stay while visiting our favorite wineries on the east side of Seneca.
Beautiful Bungalow !
We enjoyed our stay very much! The foliage was beautiful and the views were outstanding! We loved the accommodations - they were perfect for us. A great location - close to wineries, breweries and Watkins Glen. Only suggestion I have is for a larger couch so two can sit more comfortably. A small sectional might work in the space.
We loved it and would love to come back when the weather is warmer to enjoy the outdoor space more!
Owners were very helpful during booking and stay.
The place was very clean and had everything you need for you stay. Good proximity to wineries and restaraunts in the area (little diner about 2 miles up the road has good breakfasts). Only suggestion we would have is an ottaman because we like to kick our feet up to watch tv.
Thank you so much for staying with us. We are so glad you enjoyed your time . Thank you also for your suggestion, it was a good one and on our shopping list. Look forward to hosting you again.
Great place to stay
Well kepted cottage very clean
Lovely Cottage with a Great View
The cottage is in a great location and has a great view of the lake. There is a great patio to sit outside and enjoy the view. The owners are very kind and are available if you need anything. I would definitely stay here again
Thank you for your kind words. We're so glad you enjoyed your stay. It was our pleasure.
Nice Place, Great Location
This apartment is perfect for access to Seneca Lake Wineries and Breweries, and close enough for driving to several hiking spots. The space is nice and clean, all modern appliances and very soft bed and carpet in the bedroom.
A few notes:
"Sleeps 4" means that 2 people can sleep on an air mattress in the living room, and two in the bed. There is no pull out couch.
The owners are very accessible and friendly, but will not impede on your privacy if you prefer less interaction. Other reviewers must have talked with them a lot more than we did. We had some brief conversations, but primarily corresponded by text, and they left a nice bottle of wine when we first entered. The patio area is quite close to the main house, but we sat outside comfortably.
There are stairs to 2nd floor entry, so be aware if you have problems with stairs.
The shower is very small. We did not mind this, but if you are an XXL type person, you could have issues. (The shower head is quite high up, so taller people would be fine.)
There are wineries and breweries within walking distance, technically. But there is no shoulder on Rte 414 and cars drive pretty fast. Better to grab a growler or bottle on the way home.
Close to Watkins Glen State Park, Finger Lakes National forest, Watkins Glen International Speedway, Corning Museum of Glass, Ithaca Commons, Cornell University, Ithaca College, cheese, wine and beer trails, shopping in village of Watkins glen and Waterloo Outlet Mall
