When I was a little girl I remember looking at my Grandma's black-and-white photo album and seeing pictures of a cottage her family owned. It seemed like it was so much fun. I never got to see her cottage firsthand, but it made me think about how I wanted to create great memories with my own family someday at a cottage like that. That someday happened when we bought this place.
Why Lisa chose Kent
We love the water so finding a place on the water was key. It took us a while to find it, but we took about 3 steps into the property and knew that it was the lake house of our dreams. We chose this area because it's such a prime fishing location. My husband is a terrific fisherman - he once caught a fish THIS BIG...well, you probably know how that story goes :-) It was also important for us to find a house that was safe for small children and had enough interesting events and attractions nearby to keep them content as well. Most of all, we just wanted a place to unwind and enjoy with family and friends.

A quiet spot minutes walking from good food
We really enjoyed the days we spent at Lisa’s house. After a week in busy NYC a few days of unstructured relaxation was exactly what we needed.
The house is right on the water. We walked to the end of the street and got a great dinner at the restaurant where we could see the lighthouse and water. In the morning we went to a grocery store nearby (though the house was already well stocked with provisions) and settled in for the next few days.
The kids had a room. We shared the back (master) room where we could see the water out the big window. That night we made a fire in the fire pit and sat on the spacious back porch having a few drinks and cooked dinner in.
The house was set up to entertain with a gas grill and lots of open space on the main floor. Our son played on the video game system hooked up to the TV. We took our daughter to a nice swimming beach nearby. We go to know some neighbors. They were very nice.
When we left it was less than an hour to Niagara. Accidentally, our daughter left her iPad and Lisa was kind enough to mail it back to us. We are already talking about when we will go back again. Such a nice time!
Great place to stay. Cant wait to do it again next year.
Nice house on the lake. If your looking for a nice house to stay in on your next trip I would highly consider it. The owners had a delicious apple pie waiting for us when we arrived. Be back next year. Thanks again Lisa and Justin
Great, affordable place to stay
We’ve been coming up to the area fishing for the past 10-12 years and have always rented cottages/houses instead of a motel. We don’t spend a great deal of money on these trips for lodging but don’t get the cheapest either. For what I call the “working mans rentals”, This is one of the nicer ones we’ve ever stayed in. Clean, all the heat/showers/appliances/etc work, and it’s well stocked so we didn’t have to bring anything like our own linens or kitchen/bathroom essentials. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.
Very nice and cozy
Thanks Lisa for such an amazing place to stay. It was very warming and comfortable for all of us after a long days worth of fishing on the Oak Orchard. We are looking forward to staying again next year.
Nice cottage on the lake!
We had a great stay at the Easy Breezy!!! We hope to be back next year. Thanks
Great spot ON the lake!
Great house and location for our trips to a Rochester and Niagara Falls! Would definitely come back in the future.
