About Edward Webb
We are retired, Ed is a retired Engineer and Cookie is a retired Nurse and teachers aide. We reside on the premises. Ed loves to make Stain glass projects and will give free lessons. Cookie loves reading, knitting, and gardening.
Edward Webb purchased this Estate in 2005
Why Edward Webb chose Pulteney
We've associated with Keuka Lake since 1970 and fell in love with the lake and all the friends enjoy meeting new friends. The local town is very friendly and has unique architecture and old fashion stores . We love the spacious capacity of the property and the 1st and 2nd floor covered 10' x 40' porches where we often eat outside rain or shine.
What makes this Estate unique
9 foot ceilings with double doors and large picture windows makes this house unique. There is a handicap sidewalk and flower beds leading to the beach.

Ed and Cookie were great. They met us upon arrival and showed us everything about their place. Ed led us to a great butcher/grocery store and we docked our boat at their dock. We will be back!
Thanks for the great review and for writing it Ed &Cookie
We thoroughly enjoyed our time - absolutely beautiful setting, quiet, and comfortable. Thank you so much for the coffee cake - YUM! - and the use of the kayaks and floaties. We are all hoping we can visit again next year!!!
Thanks you were great tenants and the place immaculate. Ed & Cookie
Perfect long weekend with family and friends. Great hosts.
We really enjoyed our four day stay and hope to be able to come again.
Ed and Cookie helped make our stay really nice. They were flexible, helpful with suggestions, and made us feel at home. They encouraged the kids and us to use their kayaks, floats, lakeshoes, paddleboat, firewood, etc.. The apartment and guesthouse were perfect for our needs and in very good condition.
We really enjoyed swimming, boating, relaxing on the porch, barbecuing, and exploring the area. Cookie even made us some great coffee cake that was a great hit.
We would love to come again.
We really enjoyed their stay. They were very quiet and respe ctul and quiet people and their kids. They also we're very aware of their kids and safety on the lake. Thanks
This cottage is a hidden gem for sure! Amazing accomodations and wonderful, kind owners!
We recently rented for 4 nights based on the pictures and reviews and we were not disappointed! It was truly better than the amazing pictures posted on VRBO. Very well maintained and clean. All linens and towels provided! Cooking is limited to using the grill with side burner, a microwave/convection oven and high end toaster oven, so perfect if you are on vacation and want to enjoy relaxing and easy meal prep! Full size refrigerator!!! All paper products and plastic silverware were provided. The deck is amazing, cozy swing, large picnic table and seating for many!!!! Absolutely, a very private, relaxing setting. Also includes a row boat, kayaks , and floats to use on the lake.
Thanks Cookie and Ed owners appreciate your review.
Very relaxing stay
Edward and Cookie are lovely ppl and we really enjoyed the 5 days. They live on the top level but are out hospitable and quiet. Beds and the place is simple and adequate. BBQing on the lake was the highlight and we did it every night.
Well maintained with friendly owners
A group of us stayed here Memorial Day weekend. The owners were very nice and left us a special treat (which was delicious and we devoured it!). The location is very nice, and it doesn't take long to get to the wineries. To note - You are only renting the bottom of this lovely house. The owners live upstairs but were very quiet and didn't bother us at all. They also had no problems when we needed to knock and ask them a few questions. The view from the deck is gorgeous and there's a great little swing which was so nice in the morning with a cup of coffee. Everything was clean and well maintained. The only reason I give this 4 stars is because of the kitchen. There isn't an actual "kitchen", but an area with a sink, a tiny counter top and a refrigerator. There is no stove, but we made it work by bringing mostly prepared food or food that could be cooked on a grill or in a crockpot. Overall, it was a very nice stay and we really enjoyed our time.
