This cabin and property were awesome. We had a black bear right outside by the ponds! If you are looking for a great cabin, this is the one. Our family had a great time here!
This place was absolutely fantastic. The proximity to Breckenridge was great, but hanging out in the backyard by the ponds was even better. We will definitely be back to stay again! Wish I could live there!
Absolutely amazing! Even better than I thought it would be! Our family had SO much fun!!!
Very easy to rent. Had to change dates and very accommodating. Sent emails with clear instructions and process. So simple and easy.
Cabin was clean and the views were amazing
Great Mother's Day Weekend
My family and I loved our weekend trip for Mother's Day. It felt bigger than 2200 square feet. We could tell the owners went out of their way to make it feel like home. The kitchen is fully stocked and there were plenty of board games. If your family is big on movies, there is a good selection. I will say the TV is a bit small, but that didn't bother us because that's not why we came up there. Soap and shampoo were provided despite their message saying to bring our own. They have a crib in the master closet. We brought our own for our 1 yr old nephew just in case. We almost never bring our 10 lb silky terrier on vacation. It was a real treat being able to bring him. I didn't notice any pet hair or pet odors the whole weekend. We didn't see any large wildlife, but we did find large and smaller fresh moose tracks in the snow next to the back patio our first morning. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because one of the bedrooms had no power. No lights, no outlet power, nothing. We switched out lamps and light bulbs to make sure. The circuit breaker box required a flat head screw driver, so I was unable to see if that was the issue. It probably wasn't my place to investigate anyways. I'm just dependent on charging my phone overnight and using it as an alarm clock, so it was frustrating. Also, I know it's nearly impossible to completely rid a home of spiders in Colorado, so I'm understanding of the 4 spiders I saw. They were all a little bigger than a quarter with large abdomens. I was able to kill 2, but it would have been easier if there was a can of Raid in the house. I was a bit salty with walking through 3 spider webs in common areas our first evening, but better me than my wife or in laws. Perhaps no one had stayed there in awhile. Our 8 and 9 year old foster kids loved the large area for snowball fights and exploring. Overall, we would definitely go back. I just expect electricity and fewer cobwebs for $335/night during the cheapest (muddy snow melt) season.
We loved it!
It was beautiful. It’s a place we will remember forever.
