Furnished 1/1 condo, coveted 2nd floor END UNIT in 3 story walk up building, apt is near one of the 2 stairways. Building Complex is located on Hana Highway.
Stocked kitchen has microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender, dishes, some pantry items, new pots and pans, everything you'll need to cook.
Ceiling fans and AC units in both the bedroom and living room. Basic Cable, 46" flat screen TV, dvd player, wifi. No smoking please.
Queen size mattress with high thread count sheets and hide-a-bed couch in the living room sleep a total of 4 people. For your peace of mind and cleanliness all linens including blankets and pillow shams are washed for each guest.

This condo was my family's vacation home, I love it and would live there myself if the building allowed pets. My hope is that you treat the unit, property and the neighbors with the same respect, cleanliness and integrity you would if it were your own. We have invested a lot in renovation, and treasure it. I inherited the condo and management of it, after my father passed. I've taken care it since then when I moved to Maui 5 years ago. This is the first time I'm renting it on a short term basis.
Walking distance to the the beach and the back entrance of Mama's Fish House Restaurant, an island favorite.

Should you need assistance or help, we are reachable and normally 15-30 minutes away.
This property was not very clean. The refrigerator leaked constantly onto our food, making it inedible. The air-conditioner needed a new filter. A perfect example of deferred maintenance in the entire unit. The hooks on the back of the door in bathroom fell off on second day of our stay. The one towel circle fell off wall numerous times. Just constant annoyances that no one needs to have when they are on vacation. Two sets of salt and pepper shakers, with no salt in either one! The downstairs tenant smoked marijuana 24x7 (we are not prudes, believe me), but the stench was so bad, we could not even sit on the deck. The laundry room was filthy. Do not make arrangements to have more than 1 car if you are more than 2 people......they will gouge you to pay for second car. Lots of bathroom amenities, but there was no spatula in the kitchen. The bedroom window did not have dark enough shade on it, at night the outside building light shone thru so bad that it looked like daylight in the bedroom. Not a fun stay at all. Good thing we had lots of friends on the island to visit. No aloha. It does not even rate one star as far as we were concerned.
Cherie provided everything we needed for our stay and the place was comfortable, convenient and organized. It really felt like a home away from home.
We had a very pleasant stay at this well kept apt despite some miscommunication and the place was not ready and no one was there when we arrived. Luckily we got their telephone number ahead of time and Cherie was able to give us the instructions to get in and apt was all cleaned up in the afternoon when we got back. The location is very central for sight seeing in Maui, on route to Hana hwy, haleakalanapa crater....we love Paia as it is not developed and you have a feel of local living. The apt is well equipped with amenities and very clean and comfortable. I definitely recommend it if you are not looking for highly polished tourist traps.

Kuau Plaza is on the less touristy North Shore of Maui. The airport and Kahului Town are 12 minutes away. Close, yet far enough to feel like you're truly on vacation...it's perfect for sightseeing, island activities, water sports, and relaxation.
Kuau store is within walking distance. A minute by car is Paia Town; shopping, restaurants, bars, and Mana Foods. Mana has organic prepared foods, local produce, and is a relatively inexpensive option to cook meals at home. They offer the best prices on island for their products and produce.
Paia also hosts a Post Office, Bank, realtors office, Hair Salon, and a few minutes up Baldwin Avenue; a Yoga studio & farmers market.
There are multiple beaches within a 7 minute drive; Kuau Cove, Paia Bay, Baldwin Beach, Ho'okipa Park, Baby Beach, and Sprecklesville. The road to Hana and The Seven Sacred Pools are a 1 1/2 - 2 hour drive.
