Breck Hut is a by-owner luxury home perfect for any group vacation or multi-family gathering. The kitchen, dining area and living room are all located on the same level with stunning views of the slopes and Ten Mile Range. The custom kitchen is fully-equipped with KitchenAid appliances and little extras such as a double-oven with convection and a warming tray. The large granite island is the perfect place for entertaining and a chef's delight. Seating can accommodate up to 20 with a dining room table that seats 10 and a roomy kitchen nook table that comfortably seats six adults or eight to ten children.
Amenities - The outdoor deck on the main level features a gas grill and patio seating. The lower level living area accommodates a range of activities for all ages. Visitors can enjoy a game of foosball, or lounge on the large, leather sectional while watching a movie on the brand new 55" Sharp HD TV. Little ones can play with Legos in the bunk room, play a board game or cozy up with a book from the large selection of children's books.
This custom home is located within walking distance to Main Street, ski resort shuttle stops, Carter Park (sledding, tennis courts, volley ball, baseball) and the newly completed High Line Railroad Park (for little ones ages 2-5) just north of the Stephen C. West Ice Rink. Restaurants, shops, and the newly completed Creative Arts district are also within walking distance. Breck Hut is ideally located to numerous biking and hiking trails directly from our doorstep.

Thankful to make Colorado our permanent home in 2003, the Neweys' love affair with Summit County began in 1996 with winter and summer vacations with our two children and extended family. We purchased the land in 1997 and broke ground in May 2004 with completion of Breck Hut in June 2005.

We chose Sunbeam Estates because of its proximity to all that Breckenridge has to offer -- shuttle access to Peak 8 & 9 (now Main Street Station), walking distance to Carter Park, Stephen C. West Ice Rink, downtown restaurants and shops, hiking and biking trails. You can enjoy all that Breckenridge has to offer without ever stepping in to a car. No need for a rental car. No issues of having to shuttle people to the area or town, find a parking place or paying parking fees. Just walk to town or take the free shuttle and buses to Breckenridge Ski Resort or other ski areas in Summit County.
Large home within the city limits of Breckenridge. Out of town feel, yet only a few minutes from downtown Breckenridge. Short walk to restaurants, bars, grocery store, shuttle to and from Breckenridge Ski area. Once you arrive, no need to drive!

Our large group of 17 people stayed in this home and felt very comfortable. It was very clean and organized with everything that we needed. We were impressed by the attention to detail of the owner since everything was clearly labeled and easy to find. Appreciated the wonderful stay!
We loved Jacques' property! The house was perfect for our group of friends (6 couples + 2 singles) - lots of seating at the dining room table, two living rooms to hang out in, a large hot tub, and well-appointed rooms with comfortable bedding. Jacques was also very responsive and provided all the relevant information that we needed - and he's conveniently put labels all around the house so you know where everything is! Location-wise, it's as good as you can get without being ski-in and ski-out - very short walk or drive to the shuttle or the base of the mountain, and Main Street is right around the corner. The only issue we encountered was with the garage door - the code didn't work half the time. Other than that, we had no issues. I highly recommend! I'll be back for sure next time I've got a big group in Breckenridge.
Every detail of our stay at the Breck Hut was fantastic. The home was spectacular and wonderfully placed in the town. Our group felt right at home and that was largely due to the feel of the home. The Breck Hut was in wonderful shape, extremely clean, and overall just really lovely. I would highly recommend this home to any group looking to enjoy some time in Colorado!

Must be 30 years of age to rent. We will ask for proof of age and identification (driver's license or other). No Smoking. No Pets. Quiet hours after 11 PM. Check-in time is 4:00PM. Check-out time is 10:00AM. Renters are responsible for any missing items or property damage incurred during their stay. Daily cleaning services are not offered. Renter is responsible for excessive cleaning fees. No weddings.
Security Deposit:
Initial security deposit is held until the home has been vacated, cleaned and inspected. Assuming there is no damage to the property, beyond normal wear and tear, security deposit will be refunded to the renter within 30 days and likely much sooner.
Cancellation policy:
100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
