About the property

1- Bedroom Right In The Middle Of The 7th District

Long-term furnished rental- Contact owner!

Great location! High quality features! Strong WIFI connection and high-end, quiet building.

This renovated one bedroom has been transformed into a gorgeous living space for your Paris stay. Always mindful of quality and detail, we've used top quality materials--hardwood floors, granite counter tops, a Duravit sink, and created an Italian tiled shower with our favorite extra large tiles.

The apartment is 350 sq. feet and has high ceilings throughout, but notably in the living room where we raised them to bring in as much light as possible from the skylight given that this is the only natural light source.

The building and entrance hall

This is a beautiful old building (late 19th century construction) which has been impeccably maintained. Enter the building and keep straight towards the end of the hall and our apartment is the last door on the left. On the right are glass doors which open onto a courtyard and a bit farther down on the right is another apartment. You are therefore in a very calm and quiet position in the building.

The apartment

Entrance and Kitchen

The high ceilings are definitely a very nice feature of this apartment. The small entrance therefore feels spacious, thanks to this as well as the closets with sliding glass doors, which provide ample space for hanging and folded clothing. To the right of the entrance is the galley kitchen, with it's lovely light gray granite worktop, wood cabinets and most importantly (in our opinion) a Nespresso maker. The kitchen is fully equipped. You may not want to cook, but there is an oven, microwave, refrigerator, stove top with two burners, dishwasher and an additional Italian coffee maker for those who prefer.

Living and dining area

Across from the kitchen is the living/dining area. The glass-topped table is designed so that the chairs can be placed fully underneath, thereby allowing for more space.

Diagonally across from the dining area is the wall mounted TV. The sofa bed next to it, a high quality trundle, converts to two twins if necessary. It's long and comfortable for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. The dining table chairs are also padded and comfortable and can serve as relaxing armchairs.

Bedroom and bath

On the other side of the kitchen, to the left of the entrance, is the bedroom. We actually moved the original location of the bedroom door to allow for more space in this room. We also created a wall across from the bed with niches for the television and for the LED lights placed behind the glass panel to create the impression of natural light--the room's window gives onto the building's main hall—this window does still provide some light thanks to the glass doors on the other side, but we thought it could be a nice touch to add this extra feature.

Our favorite part of the bedroom is the Toile de Jouy wallpaper matched with the deep blue color on the walls which provides such a cozy atmosphere.

We also chose high quality Pirelli bedding, but as this apartment is so quiet, we believe that it would be impossible not to get a good night's sleep!

The small bathroom has been designed to maximize the space. The lovely Italian shower, while not huge, is large enough to be comfortable and we have installed Grohe thermostatic taps. The Duravit sink blends perfectly with the tile color, and across from the WC is a towel warmer neatly placed above the combination washer dryer.

The location

What's really nice about the apartment's location, is that although it is on a very calm and quiet street, you can quickly arrive either at the hustle and bustle of St. Germain des Pres and the rue du Bac area, or alternatively at the more sprawling areas of the 7th towards Invalides and the Eiffel Tower. The Musee Rodin is the closest tourist attraction -- it's about 2 minutes by foot from the apartment.

Closest metros:

Solferino – 550 meters (right off of the boulevard St. Germain)

Varenne – 450 meters (right off of Invalides)

Clean and Convenient Apartment in Central Paris

  • 4 of 5

My wife and I stayed in Stacey's apartment for four months. The apartment is in a great location. Easy access to several metro lines, though much of center Paris is in walking distance. The ceilings are quite high in the apartment so that's nice. The apartment is clean and well-maintained. It has all the essentials for a long-term stay. There are several grocery stores, pharmacies, and other stores within a short walk of the apartment. Stacey was a great landlord. She was very responsive to all our requests. I would recommend this apartment, though I would note that the apartment doesn't receive much natural light -- only through a skylight in living room area, there are no windows. Just something to consider if that's important

Owner's Response: Thanks so much for your comments. We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay. Just a small clarification: there is another window in the ceiling which opens to the outdoors. This window is quite high up and off to the side. The source of natural light is therefore, as stated in the review, from the skylight which is in the living room.

Good

  • 4 of 5

The property was as described and even though small by our standards was a pleasant place to stay in. Only had one suggestion especially for longer stay people that the kitchen could do with some extra utensils such as a kitchen knife, whisk, peeler etc. Also the cupboard doors in the hallway are not sliding properly which could be easily fixed to make it easier in a small apartment.

Owner's Response: Thank you for pointing out these issues. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay in this property, which we remodeled in order to provide maximum comfort. The new utensils have been purchased and we are now going to replace the doors as repairs were not satisfactory. We apologize for this inconvenience. I hope to welcome you back in the future!

My husband and I recently stayed at Stacy's place for the last two nights of our stay in Paris. It was very convenient, clean and cozy. We had a great stay at this apartment and would stay there again.

Highly Recommended

  • 4 of 5

The apartment was clean and well maintained. The location was excellent and safe ( we came back every night at about 11.30 PM). we walked to Louvre, Arc De Triomphe, Napoleons tomb Orsay Museum etc. Close to three subway. The apartment is very small per American expectation (about 350 Sq feet) but nicely furnished. Though four adults can sleep it is pushing a bit too much. Overall it is highly recommended .
