About Janet Mills and Josh Rodriguez

I have Lived and worked in the Omaha area my whole life, this is my first adventure with offering my home as a vacation rental. My Husband and I have worked to make this place as comfortable for you as it has been for us.

Janet Mills and Josh Rodriguez purchased this house in 2014

Why Janet Mills and Josh Rodriguez chose Omaha

I have always adored the old brick homes in the area, when this one came up for sale I fell in love with it inside and out - from the crazy tile in the kitchen to the immaculate hardwood floors under the dingy carpet . It took many months of hard work to get it polished and ready to live in but I think we did it and I hope you enjoy this place as much as we do. It has been a great adventure making this home what it is and we are looking forward to all the future changes we have in mind to make it an even better experience for you as our guest, if its your first time or if you chose to stay here on your next visit as well

What makes this house unique

Surround yourself with original art, color, and mid century kitsch with newly refinished hardwood floors and furniture.

Perfect for our needs. We had an issue with the tv and the owner was there in 10 minutes to get us back on track. Fun art and very clean.

Great everything!

  • 5 of 5

The house is in a great location close to the Zoo, Old Market, and the freeway. We enjoyed and appreciated the overall great condition and cleanliness, well-equipped kitchen, plethora of board games, fast WiFi, high chair, Keurig coffee machine, soaps/shampoo, and Janet's flexibility and communication. The house had everything we needed but those little added touches made our stay so wonderful. Thanks for letting us stay in your charming home!

Charming cottage in great location for visiting Omaha

  • 5 of 5

Comfortable and spotless, in a perfect location--near zoo, parks, downtown, and airport. We loved the decor and art, and the beautiful remodel of this classic cottage. The owner was very responsive in planning our visit. We hope to come back some day!

Fabulous Stay!

  • 5 of 5

My friend and I stayed here for a couple days while in Omaha. It was the perfect house for us. We could have had a couple more with us with plenty of room. I LOVED it! The atmosphere, how it was decorated, the art, and how close Old Market and other restaurants were to it. Would love to stay again if we are ever in the area!

Just what we were looking for

  • 5 of 5

The house was everything we had hoped for. It was private, yet still not too far away from anything you would need. The inside was very well kept, and we especially enjoyed the deck out back. I'd highly recommend staying here.
