Overview

About the property

House, 4 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, Sleeps 10

A modern home with a rustic cabin-in-the-woods feel, this lovey pet-friendly Lake Tahoe vacation rental has gorgeous views of the surrounding wilderness, a private deck with a grilling area, a cozy wood-burning fireplace, and plenty of space for up to 10 lucky guests!

The location sits in a unique cradle of pristine wilderness offering boundless outdoor recreation options just beyond your back door. With Sunnyside Resort just a few miles away, you'll also be able to relax and dine lakeside. Just a little up the road you’ll find the picturesque, sandy shores of Kings Beach and, if the bigger mountains are calling your name, head northwest another seven miles where you’ll find the world-class slopes at Northstar California Resort.

The home itself is warm and inviting, a welcome retreat from a day spent communing with the Great Outdoors. Every appointment in the home has been carefully and meticulously chosen, from the custom-appointed kitchen cabinetry to the beautiful portrait windows, the plush furniture and exposed wooden beam ceilings - exuding a peaceful mountain oasis far from the stresses of the city.

Up to 10 people (eight adults) can sleep comfortably in four bedrooms, which are contained on two floors: the master suite with a king-size bed, and another room with trundle beds reside on the second floor, while two bedrooms - one with a queen-size bed, another with a full-size bed - are on the first floor. The first floor also contains a spacious living room with beautiful portrait windows and comfortable sofa and barcalounger seating around floor-to-ceiling bookshelves and a cable television with a DVD player. You can bring up to two dogs, but there is an additional pet fee.

A large, well-stocked chef’s kitchen with a full range of modern appliances including dishwasher and gas stove, along with an attached dining area that seats seven, rounds out the first floor.

Is the forecast calling for sunny skies and temperatures in the 80s during your stay? That’s perfect weather for grilling out, which is also available to you on your own private backyard deck. A high-quality gas grill is provided along with propane.

Don’t worry if you have Internet-based work to do while you’re here (but please don’t work too hard!); WiFi is provided.

Whether your goal is rest or relaxation, this great luxury vacation rental has you covered! With close proximity to world-class skiing, mountain biking, cycling, kayaking, trail-running (and so much more!), your family or friends will love the location almost as much as the home!

So, what are you waiting for? Book this property now and start planning all the fun-filled things you’ll do at this mountain getaway!

About Vacasa, CA - Lake Tahoe Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Great Cabin

 • 5 of 5

My family and I came here for a weekend getaway. It was wonderful. The spot was a great location, it was away from the crowds and beautiful.

The home was up to date and is super comfy.

My family and I loved it and already want to go back!

If you want seclusion and a nice fire place.

First time coming here in the fall and loved the fall colors around Tahoe City. Love the cabin. It has everything you need there in the kitchen. The master bedroom is big. The living area has plenty of windows to look out of.

Great place to stay. Property just needs a little TLC. Would be really great if there was a big patio table for meals on the deck....to seat at least 6 or more.

We had a great time staying in this house, the location was great for us, close to Tahoe City and yet it was quiet and relaxing, at the end of the road! We had 7 people in the house and it was perfect, everything we needed! Thank you!!
