Reviewer Comments:

Just wish we were there longer. Basically ski-in, ski-out, but a 2 night stay isn't enough to really take advantage of it

Reviewer Comments:

We rented the studio based on our desire to be close to the lift (Snowflake) and near Charter Sports for our ski rentals. The studio was perfect for the two of us and had ample room for all of our gear. The kitchen, while small, has everything but an oven so we cooked a few dinners and skied back for lunch via Four O'Clock a few afternoons. The bathroom is updated and warm! The bed's mattress could've been a little better, but skiing tired us out anyways. The hot tub is right next door and perfect after a day on the slopes. You can hear others walking around their units but all was quiet by 9 pm or so. The balcony has a great view of the slopes and would be nice to enjoy in the summer or fall. Our only major mark was the cleaning staff was still in the unit when we checked in. I'd consider staying here again for the location and price can't be beat!

Reviewer Comments:

You allowed a parking spot for your car. We would go out to dinner and return to no parking spots available. We had to go park elsewhere. And also no Handicap Parking available wish I needed and Had permit to park. No spoons in complex---teaspoons and tablespoons. Only 2 dishtowels for the week stay. Bath towels also limited with no access to a washer and dryer in complex. Rules state quite time at 10 p.m. Guest next door up and very loud til early mornings. Did call management to report these issues and nothing was done. It was very stressful to go out and not knowing if and where we would have to park in evenings and if we would have been able to rest.

Owner's Response: Hi Debbie, I'm very sorry for the issues that you had. Onsite allows one spot per condo in this complex and almost all year long that is not an issue. New Years is definitely the busiest time of year for us and the entire town so parking is usually the craziest during this time as well. Please call us if you ever experience this, we are happy to call onsite to have them assess the vehicles in the lot.

Great location. The unit was everything I was expecting and had everything I needed. Although, the unit had a strange odor and there were nails sticking up on the deck.

Reviewer Comments:

This small studio was adequate for a short stay. It felt a lot like a hotel room. The kitchen is tiny, but you can make simple meals. The beds left us with painfully sore backs; they were extremely mushy, which may work for some people, but not us. There is a good mountain view from the room and the deck. The location was good-- not too far from town, and across the street from a trailhead.

Owner's Response: Dear Eliza- Thank you for your feed back regarding your stay at our Tyra Aspen Studio Condo. I am glad to hear you enjoyed the mountain views and Sawmill Creek Trailhead while staying with us. I will go up to the home to test the beds myself, ensuring they are fit for guest use. Reviewer Comments:

Problems with this property began upon arrival. Every pillow, including the one's in the closet were covered in human hair. The next day, Summit Mountain Rentals sent an individual to replace the bedding. We were in the unit when the gentleman arrived and we watched him throw the comforters and blankets on the floor while replacing the linen. One of the dining room chair rollers broke while sitting in it. This sent me awkwardly to the ground, luckily I was unhurt. The kitchen faucet was wobbly and the toaster was so cheap and old, it struggled to toast breakfast items. The walls are extremely thin and routine conversations from 9A are clearly audible. Out of the five afternoons we attempted to use the hot tubs, twice we were unable because the heaters were not working. Also, the hot tub steps for the indoor hot tubs are extremely slippery. Even when holding onto the railing and gingerly stepping in, I still awkwardly fell into the hot tub one afternoon. Also, witness another individual fall into the same hot tub. The unit is listed as "deluxe" and for the cost is anything but.
