Having skied all over, Colorado will always be my home. I have lived many places, but there is no place like the Colorado Rockies. When we initially looked for a vacation home, we decided that convenience to Denver was paramount. Also, we love the history of Colorado and a ski area that could offer the historic mining town aspect was something that just can not be duplicated. Breckenridge has it all! You can't help but fall in love with this lovely little town and its amazing ski mountain.
What makes this Townhome unique
We love being up on the mountain. It is so great not having to get into a car in the morning. The walk to the gondola is as quick as walking across a parking lot. We chat as we walk and 'map out' our day of skiing. Guests have the option to choose when they wish to come and go which makes it easy on everyone in the group.

Wonderful Vacation and Home
This was my favorite house in this neighborhood. We have stayed in the same area past 4 years and really enjoy the location to the gondola and town. The home was clean comfortable and had all the amenities required and that we needed. The owner was very responsive to any of our questions. I would definitely give this home and the owner 5 stars!!! Beautiful home with fantastic amenities!
We have rented many homes through HomeAway (and other sites), and this home has been the very best! Rentals can sometimes offer "second-hand" kitchen accessories, linens, etc. That is absolutely not the case here: everything in the house was top-notch! From the high-capacity coffee maker to the gourmet knife set, we had absolutely everything we needed to prepare meals and enjoy the space. The house also includes fantastic details for skiers, including dedicated storage spaces, a sink in the garage, and a boot drier. The homeowner was very attentive and made certain we were happy and comfortable. We had the best "first" trip to Breck, and hope to make this an annual tradition!

House was clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay.
Spacious, warm, well-equipped.
We are a family of five with two college-aged and one younger child who traveled to Breckenridge from New England. This home provided plenty of space and privacy for each member of my family. High ceilings and large windows made the home light and bright and showcased the beautiful woods and trails outside. The kitchen was very well equipped and a pleasure to cook in. (A pair of kitchen shears would be helpful, though). The radiant heat made the home comfortably warm, and gas fireplaces added additional warmth and ambiance. The hot tub worked perfectly and was a pleasure after a long day on the slopes. Nice, new washer/dryer on the main floor was very convenient as well. This home could easily fit two families. The board games were a hit. The Gondola was very convenient way to get on and off the slopes, about a 7 minute walk or about 2 blocks away.
This home would also be ideal for people who want to try XC or snowshoeing, as there are trails and Nordic center close by.
Minor cons: My kids noted that the bunk bed mattresses were somewhat uncomfortable and the TV/remote system was a little dated (no HD).

Golf: Breckenridge Gold Club is just a few miles down the road and offers the most gorgeous mountain views on this spectacular golf course. 2009 Green Fees are approximately $107 per round of golf.
