Very spacious and convenient!
The apartment had everything you could possibly need, clean, and was comfortable for 3 people. We were pleased with the ability to do our laundry as we just came from Cinque Terre and were heading to Rome. Close to the train station and walking distance to Duomo and Arno river. Pizza place on the corner was great for late night meal. I recommend staying here.
Nice spacious apartment and close to all major attractions.
We had to contact Home Away as the apartment owner had not provided a phone number. When we arrived at the apartment, no one was there to meet us. Home Away contacted the owner and someone met us two hours after we arrived. The apartment was very comfortable and well maintained. The location is only a few minutes from the train station and very close to all major attractions and restaurants. The street is very noisy at night and into the early morning, with many locals loitering under the apartment window. We were relieved to see that the apartment door had a secure lock as the street noise made me nervous.
A lovely apartment in a beautiful city
I can't speak highly enough of this property - my boyfriend and I were running late to check in, but the hosts were accommodating and understanding, and even managed to track us down because we'd gotten lost!
The apartment itself is gorgeous and clean, and is walkable from both the train station and to all the major sights of Florence, including the Duomo. While the living room can be a bit noisy from the bustling street outside, the bedroom is very quiet, and offers a nice breeze from the tiny adjacent courtyard. The apartment itself is lovely, with a tall ceiling and exposed wooden beams. It simultaneously feels old and modern.
Would love to stay here again!
Comfortable stay & close to all attractions
Our host greeted us on time and was helpful in showing us the apartment. It was clean and well stocked. When we had missing light bulbs and a flooding shower our host took care of it right away. The apartment is very central to most attractions in the city and only 5-7 minutes walk to train. If you are looking for a quiet area of town this is not the place. The apartment is on a faily busy street with street noise, some traffic, and people who loiter at nearby establishments. Beware the height of the doors. We are tall and had to duck into the front door and the laundry door. Ceilings low and not much light in apartment. All amenities in good working order. Comfortable stay.
Nice Florence Apartment, Good Location
Wife and I with our adult daughter stayed for three nights prior to relocating to Scarperia for my brother;s wedding. It was our third trip to Italy. We liked the apartment. All worked well for us except the steep stairs up from the entry. Have to remember that the Italians start their floor count at zero. Really like the location as eats, drinks and groceries are close by. Taxi was handy except Friday evening, then impossible. Walking distance from the SMN train station and most tourist attractions. Did I say tourists? OMG. The city is overrun with them. Scarperia and the Chianti countryside were a welcome relief. Thankfully Italy is off our "bucket list".
