This is the second time we have rented Beacon Hill and enjoyed it each time!! Carla is a great host...I'm sure we will be back for time #3
Words cannot describe the beauty and peacefulness experienced at Beacon Hill House. Our family celebrated wine country weekend here, the views of the vineyard with fog drifting in and out were spectacular. The house was perfect, relaxing, quiet, yet right in the middle of so many wonderful wineries. We loved the house and the surrounding vineyard. We can't wait to return in the summer to experience the wonderful patio and outdoor amenities Thank you so much for the bottle of wine, yummy bagels and the wonderful hospitality. A few suggestions for the future, the pans in the kitchen could stand to be updated, and it would be wonderful to have information about the happenings at the vineyard. We had no idea that 8 wineries were offering tastings the weekend we were there, but were thrilled to discover them and taste so many wonderful wines in one spot. We can't wait to return!
We spent two nights at this home on the property of Beacon Hill Winery near Gaston. It's in a beautiful setting overlooking the vineyard with a flower garden and lovely outdoor patio. The three bedroom, two bath home was very clean, nicely furnished and had a well equipped kitchen. The beds were extremely comfortable, had quality linens and the bathrooms were furnished with nice soaps, shampoos and lotions. Carla, the owner, was extremely helpful when I had several questions. She responded immediately and even left a bottle of wine and fresh bagels for breakfast as a welcome gift. We wouldn't hesitate to stay at Beacon Hill again.
Our first trip to Oregon wine county was a huge success despite bad weather. The accommodations at the Beacon Hill house were great. Carla, the owner was responsive to all questions and requests. Including bringing firewood to the house so we could enjoy the wood burning stove on a cold rainy evening. The house seemed to be centrally located in wine country with endless options for wineries and food within a 30 min drive. Not to mention the winery on the property, Beacon Hill, which was a perfect way to wrap up a day of winery tours. Special thanks to Kim in the Beacon Hills tasting room for her hospitality and accommodations. We enjoyed our stay and will likely look no further when returning to Willamette Valley.
I fell in love with this property when I drove up the driveway. Upon entering the house it exceeded my expectations. The decor was beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked and there was a lovely note with a bottle of wine and a dozen bagels from Carla, the property owner. It was very clean and welcoming. We traveled with friends and I choose the downstairs bed and bath, which was easy access for my morning coffee on the beautiful patio overlooking the valley. The beds was very comfortable. This property is centrally located and easy access to a lot of wonderful wineries and tasting rooms.
I wish I we had booked a few more days as 3 days was not long enough to see everything we wanted to see. I highly recommend this property if your looking for a quiet relaxing get-a-way and some good wine. I will be back
Property is a dream come true. Set in a verdant vineyard surrounded by the beautiful hills , a perfect place to rejuvenate. House is well appointed . Beds are very comfortable, kitchen well equipped , clean and spacious enough for our party of five.
