Beautiful, cozy cottage
The house was so quaint and cozy! Had all the amenities you needed. Loved the decorative style. Alicia was very responsive to our calls and questions. Everything was great..just wish it was a slightly better neighborhood. The back yard was the only thing that wasn't as pictured.
A splendid cottage
Easy to get in at arrival. Very clean with many extras like coffee, good wifi, a block to Rubys - a good very reasonable diner,
Convenient, clean, urban
Definitions for all newer and up-to-date. Color scheme of decoration was nice so this was a good away from home place to stay. Protected carport gave me a little bit of security having a rental car and an unknown neighborhood, but the neighborhood seem to very nice. Less than 5 minutes from Disney made our trips handy Andy even a lot of to come home and go back to Disney. If you want to go north to LA beware the traffic
Super cute cottage, perfect for our stay touring Chapman and a few days at Disneyland. Only a 5-minute ride to the park. Owner and property manager both super responsive when we had a question on parking (need to enter from the alleyway on side of house.) Also very close to the packing district, grocery and pharmacy, too). House was very cute and clean - just as pictured. Sure beats staying at a hotel for about the same price.
We came to Anaheim with two young children for a surprise trip to Disneyland. The house was fantastic. Perfect size for the 4 of us, but we could have easily had additional guests with us and have comfortably stayed and slept. The house is super cute and well maintained. Great location and neighborhood. I would highly recommend. Thank you for your hospitality!
Overall, the house was ok.
The house was easily accessed when we arrived, which is always a bonus after traveling all day with three little kids. There was plenty of room in the two "adult" rooms, but the kids bunkbed room was pretty tight, again, no big deal because we didn't hang out much at the house. The problems with the house we discovered the next day. The floor was very dirty and obviously hadn't been washed in quite some time. One of the quilts had a huge tear in it (it was promptly mended as soon as we notified the manager), the only issue with this though is that she came into the house while we weren't there. The master bathroom had mold growing on the ceiling. There was food left in both the fridge and the freezer. We needed to rewash all the dishes we used before we could use them.
On the positive side, it was super easy to catch an Uber to and from Disneyland, and the location/neighborhood seemed relatively safe. The house didn't ruin our trip by any means, but I'm not reviewing that, I'm reviewing the house, so it gets a 2 out of 5 from us.
Jen, we're glad you enjoyed your stay overall! The homeowner wanted to pass along the following message:
"I’m sorry you discovered some problems when you arrived at the house. Our manager takes great pride in the place, and is very responsive to our guests’ needs of all kinds, living next door and treating the house as her own. However, I believe that was the week when she had a family emergency and had to have someone else do the cleaning.
At any rate, that’s no excuse, and we will correct the situation. We are also having all new bedding done for the house.
Thank you for letting me know so I can take corrective action."
Best, the Evolve Team
