Location perfect. Place needs to be upgraded with new toaster, coffee pot, better flatware and not so much space taken up with owners items (folding bi-fold doors and beach chairs). Too many fees (almost half the rental cost). Will probably not return to this complex, otherwise we enjoyed our stay. Also never saw any pool person checking levels and cleaning the pool!

This could have been a little more economical being the second part of August. The other condos are very economical with no pets, but we naturally paid our pet fee. Thank you for always helping when it was needed.
Overall we had a beautiful time. The condo was nice. Would probably give my stay five stars except we had jellyfish while we were there so couldn't enjoy the ocean as much as we liked
Everything was perfect!
My family of four had the most wonderful experience. Eric was the perfect host booking us in a two bedroom, two bathroom condo on the beach. Windemere 1006 had everything and more than we expected. We used the fitness center daily and then spent our day at the beach and pool. Great location with some outstanding restaurants. We are looking forward to working with Eric again to book our next vacation. View from our large balcony was breath taking and property immaculate looking.
So close to being great....but yet so far away...but we'd stay again
My husband, pug dog, and I booked this condo last minute and got a fantastic deal for an ocean front condo. We had a great week, however, as with every place, there were pros and cons to the condo. And since I would want to know- I will list both.
Pros:1) ocean front location is wonderful, just a short drive from the business loop 2) the couches, dining table, and artwork were very nice. 3) booking with Eric was easy, no hassle, he also was very nice and prompt. 4) it was pet friendly and easily accessible grass for my pug.
The cons: None of these were a deal breaker for us but they could be for others, so: 1) the condo has carpet...when we arrived it was wet as if they just had it cleaned (which was nice) but it is carpet at the beach so was stained and past it's useful life. We stay on the Gulf often, this is the first condo that wasn't tile...it would be a great upgrade. 2) The walls had many scuff marks on them...not a huge deal but makes it seem unkempt,(and so easily cleanable with a magic eraser) 3) The baseboards/woodwork were all dusty, and scuffed. I don't usually touch the baseboards so it didn't affect our stay but it makes it look unkempt. 4) The bed is King size, which is nice, however it is old, has a slump in the middle-we slept okay but it needs to be replaced (as does the dated comforter set.) 5) While I am talking about the bedding...the sheets were scratchy- more like an institution than hotel sheets, and the towels were the cheap hotel ones 5) The 4 sets of bifold doors are off their hinges. the bunkbeds, the hall closet, master closet, and master bath closet were all very hard to open, we didn't use them but if you needed to it would be a pain. 6)The built-in microwave was not working, instead of fixing it they left it and added a countertop microwave-in an already small kitchen it made it more cramped and again made the place seem like it needed maintenance...the counter microwave worked so it didn't really effect our stay. 7) The bathrooms (1 1/2 bath) are SUPER small....in the master bath the toilet is in a separate room-if you are of any size at all it could really be an issue. You have to step around the toilet to shut the door. 8) And the tub had a hard water stain ring that could be cleaned with a little elbow grease.
We really had a great time and would stay again, but wanted to write a fair review of both sides. Seems like a day of cleaning and maintenance would make this place a 10 but for now it's a 5.
Thank you for your valued feedback. It is my goal to have all of our guest enjoy their accommodations while vacationing in our beach front condo. It was disappointing and embarrassing to read about the items mentioned.
The carpet was cleaned before our guest arrived. Sorry it was wet upon your arrival. (carpet was replaced less than a year ago.) We have also now replaced the master bedroom mattress and comforters. The microwave has been on order and as soon it arrives it will be installed. We always do updating in the winter including painting, restocking, deep cleaning, etc. The condo is a 1 bedroom with approx. 790 sq. feet, so there is limited room. But it is right on the beach and at $79 a night in the winter season, it is a hard bargain to beat! :) Thank you again for your valued feedback!
