Condo C1 is on the first floor and has direct access to the tropical gardens and pool at The White. The condo also has a street facing door and an assigned parking spot. The living room and master bedroom have floor to ceiling picture windows overlooking the lovely gardens and pool. The White is a small "condominio" of just 28 units. It is a gated community. Only owners and guests have access to the common gardens and pool. The condo offers a peaceful setting very close to downtown Tulum. Each bedroom has floor to ceiling , wall to wall closets. Bathrooms have marble, modern appliances, and walk-in showers. The condo has A/C units and ceiling fans through-out. Kitchen is totally fitted with pots, pans, plates, cups, glasses, utensils, placemats, etc. to allow the guest to enjoy a meal at home. Stainless steel cook top and refrigerator are new. Living room has a sofa-bed which opens into a full size bed where two guests may sleep. The dining room has a table and six chairs. A small terrace with two chairs is ready for you to enjoy the view of the gardens and pool. Linens (bath towels, hand towels, pool towels, beddings) are provided.The master bedroom has a queen size bed and a safe for guests valuables. The 2nd bedroom has 2 single beds. The living room has a flat screen TV where guests can watch over 1000 movies and shows from the video library. You can also connect to your Netflix account using the video system.

We purchased this property because we fell in love with Tulum and its beaches. The condo is modern and the location couldn't be better to enjoy all Tulum has to offer.
What makes this Condo unique
We chose condo C1 in the White because it is in a small residential community, but has large and beautiful tropical gardens and the pool is simply fabulous. Swimming at night, under the stars, and seeing the palm trees swaying in the light breeze is simply so romantic.

Oh, Tulum, I went back to visit you and I'm still delighted. A month before our arrival to Tulum, we received a welcome email sent by Rod and Paty - the owners. I thank the owners for their recommendations of activities and restaurants, which we followed to the letter. The apartment was immaculately clean when we arrived, it smelled like lavender, and there was a bottle of red wine on the table for our group (2 couples), especially for the occasion of Valentine's Day! (a kind gift from Rod and Paty). From our group of 2 couples, I was the one who had before been to Tulum in 2 other occasions. The maps and directions that the owners gave us were very useful, because I was able to take my friends to the classic places to visit and I also visited new ones. After our daily adventures, we relaxed in the pool of the condominium, which is spectacular, and we were almost alone in this big pool. The beds in the apartment are comfortable. The a/cs and ceiling fans kept us cool. The kitchen has everything, and we cooked our breakfasts there every morning. We followed the Rules of the House, and put the security bars on the sliding doors, locked the two entrance doors, and put our passports and jewelry in the safe. We felt very safe in this apartment. The neighbors of the condominium with whom we talked were very kind, and we also made friends with a couple of Austrians, who, like us, were guests in the White Condominium. We all commented on how beautiful the pool was, and the many palm trees in the garden. My boyfriend asked me to marry him by the pool! My engagement ring was beautiful. I put it in the safe when leaving for the beach. I will return to get married next year in Tulum, and I know it will be an unforgettable wedding. I love Tulum. We have put a lot of time into it to insure our clients have a good experience. I know it is nice to have AC when you come back from the beach and thank you again for turning off the AC when you were not in the house.

Unit was not clean and was burglarized while I was sleeping.
When I opened the cell like front door I should have a clue as to what I was getting into renting this unit. The second locked door was an sturdy as the metal barred outer door but the lock was just as cumbersome.
The unit smelled like mold and mildew. There were dirty wet rags in the sink.
Hair in the drain of the shower.
The hot water was out for 36 hours.
The furniture was extremely uncomfortable
Linens and towels as cheap as you can buy
No TV station unless you subscribe to a service.
No clocks. No books or magazines.
The lack of a clock or something to read became particularly challenging after the unit was burglarized in the middle of the night while I was sleeping. My i phone 8, laptop knapsack with passport ray bans were stolen by someone who scaled as fifteen foot high courtyard wall to break through a sliding screen door
The pool is very nice
The landlord docked my security deposit 70 bucks because a blind feel down when I tried to close it.
This is the sixth vrbo/arbnb either me or a companion has rented in the last eight months Mostly in the US but Scotland and Cyprus too By far my worst experience.
Ps there was dog pooh in the car park The landlord remarked on how his neighbors should know better and clean up after themselves. The indoor plumbing isn't strong enough to flush toilet paper so they request you put the dirty paper in the garbage. There are numerous stains on the walls and floors.
This guest had not read the welcome email we send all our guests one month prior to arrival. In this email we provide each guest with a code to open the lockbox to access the apartment keys. This guest arrived and had no idea what the code was, and was clueless as to how to enter the apartment. Since he had not read our welcome email, he also neglected to read our House Rules, where we specifically say to use the security bars in all doors and windows, and not to leave doors and windows unlocked. In our House Rules we also ask our guests to leave all valuables and important documents in the safe we provide. He neglected to do this too. Never have we had any of our units robbed before, as all our guests have used the security bars as instructed. This guest seemed happy on arrival and invited me into the unit for a cup of coffee when I went to greet him. I did take $68.40 USD from his deposit, as he had torn down the rollable curtain in the living room. He admitted he had had an accident which caused this to happen, but later tried to blame the robbers. The curtain was in good working condition when he arrived. The unit was burglarized because he left the glass sliding door in the living room wide open all night long. He left his passport, his checkbook, his cell phone, and laptop on the coffee table in the living room and went to sleep in the master bedrooom. The robbers walked by the apartment, saw the door wide open and took his things. Other units were not robbed because owners locked their doors. We spent an entire morning helping this guest with the police report and went with him to the Court bldg to place the other report. The condo was very clean on arrival. My wife personnally checked it. On the 2nd day of his stay, the guest called to say that the toilet did not work. My wife went to the unit and flushed the poop from the toilet. The toilet was working just fine. The guest did not know how to flush a push button toilet. The client called to complain that he had no hot water any more. The tech came on the same day, and repaired the issue in 10 minutes. We have never had complaints from other guests about our furniture, our linens/towels. They are of good quality. Our lisiting says that we do not offer cable TV. We offer access to movies (Netflix or other). We can not control it if a dog poops outside our complex. In all the Yucatan peninsula used toilet paper is thrown into trash cans, not down the toilet. This is the same in other condominiums.
Just Another Day In Paradise
Our accommodations were a perfect fit for us. Plenty of space and comfort, everything we needed. Close proximity to everything in Tulum yet tucked-away a short distance from the busy main highway. An oasis of beauty in a jungle setting with the beach only minutes away. The condo is well built, maintained and furnished with lots of extras that made the stay relaxing and most enjoyable. Lots of attention to all the little details with information that helped to make a trip successful and fun. Highly recommend to others, we will be back!
