When you arrive at this tropical paradise you will find everything you need to truly enjoy your time on the beautiful island of Maui. This spacious end unit is located in a very quiet complex just across from beautiful Napili Bay (truly a hidden secret on Maui). From the granite countertops in the kitchen to the large deck surrounded by tropical trees to the luxurious linens on the Tempur-Pedic king and queen size beds, you may find yourself not wanting to leave!

If you want to see sea turtles, you can see them from the shores of Honokeana Bay just south of Napili Bay - or you can jump in the warm water to see them up close. Just to the north, you can snorkel, scuba dive or even rent a sea kayak and explore the reef at Kapalua Bay. And don't forget to body surf, boogie board or skim board on the great sandy shores of Napili Bay. Great surfing is just a short drive north to Honolua Bay. This quiet complex is also surrounded by the Kapalua Golf Club Bay Course.

Start your morning with a great walk along the sidewalk through the Kapalua Resort as you look out at the blue Pacific Ocean or get in line before 7:30 am to enjoy a fantastic breakfast at the Gazebo Restaurant in Napili Shores Resort. Relax in the evening while barbecuing on the spacious deck or sip some wine on the outdoor patio at Merriman's while staring off at the island of Molokai (you might even spot a whale or two).

If you decide to bring the kids, the third bedroom has two sets of bunkbeds to sleep four. And for those who can't leave home without checking in at work, we provide wireless access and free long distance phone service. The two car garage makes it especially easy to load and unload your golf clubs, beach toys, snorkel gear or whatever else you find yourself enjoying while on this beautiful island.

We spent our honeymoon on the island of Maui. Before our kids arrived, we stayed at hotels and resorts most of the time. After having kids, we still found ourselves going to Maui but had difficulty finding reasonably priced accommodations with multiple bedrooms and a full kitchen with easy access to a nice beach. We decided to purchase this beautiful townhome so that we could truly enjoy our vacations with our family and have others enjoy it as well!

We purchased this vacation rental due to the great location, peaceful setting and easy access to so many different activities. Napili is generally cooler than other parts of west Maui, making it a great place to relax and enjoy the weather. Within walking distance you will find three great beaches that each have a unique quality and several great restaurants. Within a short drive you will have access to world class golfing, surfing, scuba diving, dining, parasailing and beautiful Lahaina Town and The Whaler's Village in Kaanapali.

What makes this condo unique

Our townhome is one of just 16 homes in this quiet complex. We have one of the only end units that is used as a vacation rental which provides for an added level of privacy in both the entry and large back deck.

Notes:
Quam Properties Hawaii will supply you with all your starter supplies including, paper towels, toilet paper, kleenex, garbage bags, laundry soap, dish soap, & dish detergent. We don't guarantee any spices. Typically salt and pepper will be in the unit, but not guaranteed. These are only starter supplies and will not be replenished. Typically they do last about a week. There are small hand soaps for the showers and the bathroom sinks as well as a small shampoo, conditioner and lotion. All of these are very small especially the shampoo, conditioner and lotion. You may want to buy these items at the grocery store. The kitchen will be fully loaded with all the utensils, plates and serving ware you should need to cook a large meal!

Perfect place to stay in West Maui!

Our group of 4 (my dad, my two 9-year old twins, and I) really enjoyed our stay in Napili Gardens #11. The house is clean, spacious, functional, well equipped & stocked with all the necessities. The house is located very close to the two gorgeous beaches, Napili Bay and Kapalua Bay and it is ~15 min drive to Black Rock beach.

The only thing I'd suggest to improve is to replace a couple of the cooking pots/pans with some new ones, as the existing pots & pans are very badly scratched. That said, everything else in the house is in an excellent shape, and I would absolutely love to stay here again next time we come back to Maui.

Btw, the house can comfortably fit more people.

Great for Diverse Groups!

The townhouse was the perfect set-up for our group of individual adult brothers and sisters. The married couple got the master bedroom with the wonderfully comfy king-size bed and great bathroom (especially that huge shower!) while siblings each took the other bedrooms. It was great to have the bunk room in case more family members were able to join us. (It would be a bit of a tight squeeze if all 4 bunks were full though.) It's difficult to find a place that is suitable for non-couple individuals on Maui and this worked out very well. Everything was as advertised, the beach access was quick and easy, and the kitchen was very well stocked with utensils/pots/pans, etc. There was plenty of snorkel equipment, toys, and beach chairs. As well, Quam Properties was very pleasant and easy to work with in terms of reserving and payment. The only thing one should be aware of is that the advertisement picture shows a view of the ocean, but there are no views from the condo. This picture is taken from one of the restaurants out on the beach. There is, however, a very nice deck off the kitchen area that is surrounded by some nice vegetation that hides whatever is behind there, and the big trees out the front window are very pleasant. The entrance involves climbing a set of stairs and all bedrooms are up another flight if it matters to anyone with elderly members in the family. It was perfect for us though. We would highly recommend this Napili Gardens townhouse to anyone, individuals or families!

Great location, comfortable, would stay again, some minor deferred maintenance.

The good:

This condo is in an excellent location for accessing the northwest coastal areas of Maui. Set in a gated complex across the main road from the Napili Bay resorts, one can walk to the Napili beach via public access routes in 3-4 minutes. Coastal walking trail access within 5 minutes. 5 minute drive to strip mall with (good) coffee, BBQ, grocery/drug store. 15 minute drive to Lahaina. One hour to OGG airport. Two hours to Haleakala summit.

Accommodations are comfortable, and well appointed. Beds are comfortable, medium firm. Photos are accurate on website. Kitchen well appointed for cooking. WiFi worked well, didn't use media otherwise. AC worked very well, almost too cool for us at max setting. Lots of great beach chairs, toys, etc., in basement garage, much appreciated. Professional snorkel rentals one block away.

Overall atmosphere - quiet, restful, and good vacation feel (as much as a condo complex can offer, anyway). Note: saw someone online complain about feral roosters crowing. This is utterly ubiquitous 24/7 in Maui and elsewhere in Hawaii; bring earplugs if needed for sleeping, and you will either get used to it, or not. Didn't bother us.

Areas for (slight) improvement:

There is some deferred maintenance that needs addressing. The latches for the screen windows in the main room have rusted/broken over time, with the "fix" being to seal them shut, so that most of the windows can't be opened if one wants to go with ambient breeze rather than AC. The blinds in the master bedroom have some challenges with knotted cords, clunky to adjust, and are not opaque, so bring your eye-shades if you sleep past dawn. We just kept them down the entire time.

Overall, a good experience, and probably price-appropriate given the expensive Maui market. Would stay again, and recommend to friends. Mahalo!

Napili Gardens - a great location!

We stayed for a week in this lovely condo located across the street from Napili Bay, one of the nicest beaches on Maui. 4 children (aged 6 to 13) slept comfortably in the 4 bunk beds; my father had his own room, while my wife and I stayed in the master. No complaints about the sleeping arrangements - probably could've had 1-2 more people comfortably.

Pros:

lots of beach towels and toys (including sand castle supplies, boogie boards, and snorkeling gear).

beautiful lanai with large gas grill

TV with Playstation 3 (I think) and lots of movies - we didn't use the Playstation, nor the movies, but anyone who has The Three Amigos and Tommy Boy is a winner in my book

Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you'd need

Napili Market is 3 minutes by car - has pretty much all you need. Larger grocery store - the Times - is 10 minutes away.

Beach rental shops are right next door.

Downtown Lahaina is 15 minutes tops unless there's an accident.

Lots of nice restaurants within walking distance. We loved Merriman's

Cons:

tap water tasted a bit off, so we just used bottled water for our coffee

no ice maker for the fridge, but that's pretty minor

This is a great home base for a stay on Maui. We tried some other beaches, but kept coming back to Napili for the body surfing. We had no issues and look forward to our next visit.

Great family spot

I won't repeat the comments of the other reviewers as I agree with everything they have said. This is a well appointed clean unit in a very quiet location. If you are the type of people who like to stroll down the strip and shop, visit bars etc in the evening you may be better off in the Kaanapali area. However for a family with younger kids who want a quiet place with little traffic in the evening, this is perfect. There are no noisy neighbors, and the only sound you hear in the morning is the birds chirping in the trees. Easy walk across the road to the beach and several excellent beach alternatives within a 10 minute drive. Got all our groceries at Napili market (5 minute drive) which was quite reasonably priced despite what you may hear. There are bunk beds for 4 kids in one of the rooms which was a key feature for us. Also lots of beach towels and a variety of toys, coolers, beach chairs in the garage. We added 3 more boogie boards to the pile and I suspect the supply of gear fluctuates as stuff wears out and other renters add to the collection. Propert managers were friendly and very accomodating. We really didnt have any issues at all for the duration of our stay. There are 3 nice restaurants within a 5 minute walk although we found that we ate breakfast and supper at home most days. Overall it was very good value for the price and we would definitely stay here again.
