comfortable stay, beautiful place and area

  • 5 of 5

Wonderful place to stay. Comfortable beds. Comfortable furniture. Well equipped kitchen. There is one bedroom, double bed, and one bathroom on the main floor. The rest of the bedrooms are upstairs. 2 doubles, 1 queen, 1 king. 2 bathrooms also upstairs.

The porch overlooking the lake was our favorite spot. Be sure to find plenty of porch time.

There are plenty of pots and pans for anything you would want to cook. Had a pot big enough to boil 20 ears of corn.

The area is quiet and serene . It's a drive to anywhere you want to go so if you need action and dinner out every night this may not be the place for you. If you want to watch the deer and moose. This is the place to be.

Ken/Larry Hot Rod Tour

  • 4 of 5

Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Overdale Lodge. It was nice to have a day just to relax and do whatever we wanted and not have to leave the lodge. Many of our folks just sat around and enjoyed one another's company.

A few people enjoyed the lake; canoing, paddle boarding, checking out the cemetery and looking for rocks around the creek.

Seth was very accommodating, personable and very easy to work with.

For folks who don't want to have to plan meals and bring food with them, there are two wonderful gals close by who can cater for you. We had them cater a steak dinner on the first night that we arrived, and brunch the following morning.

The only downer was the gravel road into the lodge. After a long day of driving and then for classic car guys to have to encounter gravel, it was a bit frustrating. They handled it well, and were in a good mood after the steak dinner and the chance to relax that evening and the following day.

During the summer months it might be a good investment to check into the cost of putting down a dust prevention sealcoat. Folks do that in our area, and it not oil or tar. It is a different type of sealant that is used. Folks here get it from a place called Marion Ag.

Thanks so much for a quiet, beautiful spot for us to share time with our friends.

Take care.

Beautiful Incredibly Clean and Spacious Lodge on a Beautiful Property!

  • 5 of 5

My family stayed for a family reunion in July and found the property to be first class. The lodge was incredibly roomy for 14 people. We had 11 people in the lodge and also rented one of their cabins. Seth, the onsite caretaker and his family were wonderful and incredibly accommodating taking care of any issues we had and providing advice on local hikes. They also provided kayaks, and a SUP for our use while we were there.

Thanks for a wonderful location for our trip and being such wonderful hosts. This is definitely a place to visit and I will come again in the future.

If you are looking to get away and spend some time in a remote location with incredible accommodations this is the place.....

Amazing Montana Property

  • 5 of 5

As amazing as this property looks online, staying here far exceeded the beauty of the pictures. From the deer every morning outside you window to views of Obermayer lake, this property is perfect. I can't imagine my family experiencing Montana any other way. Seth and his family are the best. We can't thank them enough for their hospitality and help in making this trip amazing.
