Bearadise is a cozy yet modern pet friendly chalet nestled among the trees with a private hot tub overlooking gorgeous mountain views. The property is an easy drive to the heart of Gatlingburg and other attractions in the area. Nicely appointed with a whimsical bear theme, this chalet features a floor to ceiling stack-stone fireplace with wood burning insert, a 47" flat screen TV in the living room, high-speed WIFI throughout the chalet for all your internet needs or for streaming, washer and dryer, two king beds (one up and one on the main floor) & a queen size sleeper sofa in the loft; two full baths, a game room upstairs equipped with a foosball table, and X-Box 360 connected to a 32" flat screen for the kids. The kitchen is updated with solid surface counter tops, is fully equipped for meal preparation and includes a CD player/radio. The large wrap-around deck has a gas grill and lots of seating for taking in the views. A wood burning fire pit built into the stack-stone wall on the deck is great for the cool nights or just for making s’mores. Short walk to the pool around the corner or drive to one of the other 2 pools.

Great Spot!

Property is wonderful, location is too. We very much enjoyed our time there as we used it as a jumping off point to hiking in the mountains. Then we spent our evenings in the property relaxing. Will definitely stay again!

Cabin in the mountains to fully disconnect from your home life!

The communication with the owner was great! It’s A cozy cabin in the mountains that you can fully disconnect and enjoy your stay. Upon arriving, we noticed that the drive in the mountains is a little steep, but is to be expected in The Smokies. It was very hard to back out of the driveway though. We actually found it easiest to drive and reverse down the street from the driveway. They do not have smart TVs at the cabin and only give you a few channels to choose from. The DVD player and Xbox, do not work. Our kiddos were disappointed by that and us at the end of the night when we’re ready to chill from a busy day of exploring. I couldn’t complain too much though because we got to really enjoy the back porch to wind down at night. Overall, I would suggest staying here! The views are gorgeous

Unacceptable by our standards

Unfortunately, cleanliness, age of property/furniture, comfort issues (could not sleep on broken down mattresses) and road navigation - even for people with experience on mountain roads - were major issues. I was able to negotiate a majority refund for "nightly fees" from the owner however VRBO is hiding behind feigned empathy, back-office clandestine "reviews" and entity stiff-arms to withhold a significant portion of price that they withheld for themselves while ignoring all of the documentation that I sent and while following their instruction to receive financial restitution. I even submitted pictures of the issues experienced and VRBO refuses to respond contrasting their slogan of "ensuring a quality experience" and a department entitled "Booking With Confidence"

Comfortable home/pet friendly

We had a very nice stay at this property. We were able to make a quick booking, only six days prior to our arrival. The owner was very accommodating as we asked to bring our dog with us. Communication was excellent and they answered every question quickly and thoroughly. A very comfortable home and we would consider staying here again.

Had a great stay at this house, the views were amazing. Very peaceful location. It was a good distance from all the places we wanted to visit. We would have liked an additional roll of toilet paper but other than that the stay was enjoyable.
