• Your "Sunset House Getaway" is surrounded by working crop and livestock farms! While we love the sounds of country life, some visitors are surprised by all the sounds and smells! Cows and steers, goats and sheep, sometimes coyote, fox and livestock guard dogs - particularly on clear evenings or during full moons! And farmers do "make hay while the sun shines," but they also have to make it when the weather is dry, and that can mean they are occasionally haying or harvesting on Sundays or at night, while the weather is favorable. We and most of our guests enjoy the sounds of country life, particularly the church bells.
