About the property

Home With Great Deck & Amenities On Wooded Lot

Enjoy a quiet and convenient home in a beautiful setting.

Open floor plan and upgraded, fully equipped kitchen. Up a half set of stairs is the master bedroom and laundry room. Downstairs are two more bedrooms and a den with convertible bed and flat screen TV.

Our deck looks through a wooded lot towards the mountains and includes outdoor dining for six (spring, summer & fall only!), and gas grill. Enjoy the birds chirping! Our yard includes a pet enclosure with a 3 1/2' high wire fence that blends into the background but keeps your small to medium size dog from running off. The two car garage will make for a smooth ice-free departure for the slopes on those snowy mornings!

Despite our quiet setting, we are only a pleasant 10 minute walk to the heart of downtown Frisco (4th and Main).

21 gear Giant Cypress cruiser bikes.

Frisco is the best location for skiing multiple world class resorts. Our home is within 20 minutes of 3 premier resorts: Copper Mountain is 6 miles, Breckenridge is 9 miles, Keystone and Arapaho Basin (spectacular views, cool low-key scene) are just a bit further at 13 and 18 miles. Loveland Basin (great skiing and lots of fresh powder) is a great stop on the way to or from the airport. Vail is 30 minutes and Beaver Creek, 36 minutes. Tons of great cross country skiing as well!

When the snow melts, both road biking and mountain biking are very nearly the caliber of the skiing. And the hiking is amazing, with Summit County enjoying the second biggest cluster of 14,000' peaks in North America and many trailheads to classic hikes nearby. Lake Dillon provides miles of shoreline for kayaking, stand up paddleboarding, etc.

Great house, couple things not working, not great service

  • 3 of 5

The house was very nice, good for our family. The only thing was the deck was not has private as the photos implied. The only complaint we had was upon arrival, we realized the hot tub wasn't working. We called the owner twice, she didn't answer but texted back immediately. Would've been nice to speak to someone on the phone instead of text. She said she would look into the issue and get back with us, but we didn't hear back until 2 days later, after we had to reach out again to her as well as the rental management company. We understand that things break, but we were very dissapointed with the hot tub not working, that was our only criteria we were looking for in a house. We also had an issue with the fire place not working, texted the owner and did not get a helpful response. All in all, the house was great, but we were disappointed with the hot tub and fire place not working and the way it was handled by the owner.

Owner's Response: My house is gorgeous but walking distance from the center of Frisco, you will not have a secluded deck. My hot tub died and it was reported on Saturday at 5 pm. I apologized for that and called my hot tub company immediately but there wasn't anything I could do to fix it in the short term. I was going to offer a partial refund to this guest but this 3 star rating (for a house that is at least as nice as any I have stayed in!) has dissuaded me from doing that.

Quiet location and an easy walk to downtown. Many great places to eat and hikes close by!

  • 4 of 5

Came to Frisco with my family of 6 for an extended weekend. The location of this property is such that it is quiet yet an easy walk or drive to everything we needed. We loved that the kitchen had condiments, spices and some paper products available. The bathrooms are good size and worked well for 6 adults. The beds are comfortable and the kids enjoyed the WiFi and cable TV during down time. We were also thankful for a washer and dryer in the unit- very handy!

When we first arrived we noticed the carpets were not very clean, there was a wood panel falling off of the hot tub and the unit smelled as though someone had cooked fish the previous night. In addition, there was a gas grill but no gas- both tanks were empty. After purchasing air freshener and opening the windows whenever we were in the unit, the smell dissipated. (It took 2 days.) The hot tub was usable, we just worried about someone getting injured while taking the cover on and off. Not much we could do about the gas tanks as instructions said to fill the tanks in Silverthorne and it was our last evening when we discovered the empty tanks. Also, 5 days prior to our arrival, I was attempting to get information regarding lock box code, instructions for the unit, etc. Providing this information earlier to the renter makes for less stress when trying to prepare for a vacation.

We came to Frisco to hike and enjoy the area! We loved the town and everyone was friendly and kind. There are many trail heads in the vicinity to support various levels of hikers. We took advantage of the Summit Stages bus to visit Breckenridge and also did a point to point hike from Frisco to Breckenridge taking the bus back to Frisco (it's free!). We also spent a day in was a very easy drive. The Butterhorn Bakery in Frisco has wonderful food and baked goods. We shopped for groceries at both Safeway and Wal-Mart. We loved our burgers at Ollie's and pizza from Peppino's (they deliver but order early- we waited almost 2 hours for our pizza delivery).

I would recommend staying here but just hope the carpets can get cleaned and they can attend to some minor repairs.

Excellent Tucked Away Home

  • 5 of 5

Very nicely furnished home with plenty of space and all the amenities plus some. In a very quiet, private neighborhood yet very convenient to Copper and Breck, as well as grocery stores, restaurants, etc. The hot tub was a very welcoming touch to the end of long ski days. The owner was very helpful in providing directions and specifics on the house. We'll definitely stay here again when back in Summit County.

Great place in Frisco!

  • 5 of 5

This three bedroom gem is spacious, clean and lovely, in addition to being well located. We were easily able to get to ski areas, as well as grocery shopping, restaurants, ski rental places, etc. It is a short distance from downtown Frisco, which is a fabulous alternative to downtown Breckenridge, especially on a crowded and busy holiday weekend. The neighborhood is wooded and quiet, and our family of four was comfortable and very happy. Thank you!
