Welcome to Jay Bird's Nest, our view of the Smoky Mountains. This is a luxurious, 2 bedroom log cabin located less than 10 minutes from Pigeon Forge.

This cabin sits on a beautiful 1 acre lot with panoramic mountain views. The amenities include king and queen log beds with a jacuzzi in the master bedroom, a full-size futon upstairs. If you enjoy staying in, there is a fully-equipped kitchen, and afterwards you can enjoy the sunset while sitting in the 6 person hot tub.

For your entertaining enjoyment, there are 4 satellite TV's, (so everyone can watch a different channel), along with a surround sound/DVD system in the living room. With speakers wired outside, you can enjoy music inside or even while grilling outside.

If you enjoy a game of pool, you will love the game room upstairs that includes a stereo, DVD player, and a wet bar as well as a table with bar stools for 4 people.

With any luck, you may spot the our newest neighbor, the bear!

Christmas in a Cabin

  • 5 of 5

We had an awesome stay in Jay Bird's Nest! So much fun for the whole family! We thoroughly enjoyed the pool table and hot tub. The location of this cabin is close enough to everything but far enough away for the down time we enjoyed together as a family. The Christmas decorations made it even more like home for us. We have recommended this cabin to many of our friends and family already and we hope to stay there again ourselves!

This was the 3rd time we have stayed in this cabin. We couldn't ask for a better place to stay. Very clean, beautiful views, close to Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg. The hot tub is so nice. We lucked out this year and had very warm weather, until the end of our week. We have already booked for next year.

The owners of this cabin are just great.

Until next year!!!!!!

2nd stay and will return

  • 5 of 5

This was my 2nd time staying at the cabin and we had a great time again. It feels like home away from home. A quick drive into Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg, but also far enough outside to enjoy the peace and quiet the Smoky Mountains have to offer. I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a great getaway with a family or spouse. The owners are wonderful people and easy to work with when booking your stay. Thank you again for the wonderful stay and looking forward to booking with you again very soon.

This was our first visit to the cabin, but it will not be our last. The decor was beautiful and the view is perfect. We loved being close to Pigeon Forge and yet far enough out to enjoy some peace and quite that we all need sometime. The jacuzzi in the master bedroom was a nice and relaxing after spending the day out shopping. We were even able to enjoy the hot tub as the sun went down. The game room was enjoyable with the pool table for an evening in. We plan on visiting the area again in the Spring and we will for certain be back in touch with the owner to book our dates again. Thank you so much for sharing and opening up your cabin for others to enjoy.

Great place to stay!!!!

  • 5 of 5

We loved the cabin and everything about it. It was close to all the main attractions, but far enough to enjoy the piece and quite time for a vacation. The cabin is beautifully decorated and the owner has been so kind each time we called then. They were pleasant in making the reservation and so prompt on sending all of the paperwork to make sure we knew exactly how to get to the cabin. We will return and will recommend it to all our friends. Thanks again for a WONDERFUL stay at your beautiful home.

71991 cabin

  • 2 of 5

My husband and I along with our daughter and her husband and our 1 1/2 yr old grandson stayed at this cabin over Labor day this year. We were highly disappointed. Had we known that there was a major water issue we would have made another choice! Apparently the water line is shared among other cabins and this is the highest point I think or some such. Believe me I mean nooooo water. Do not expect a shower in the morning unless you get up at say 6am or about that time and hurry up and get in! We did call maintenance and were advised that this is common for this cabin and happens all the time. WHAT? We were not told this. Needless to say dishes were not hard to do and the dishwasher was not an option at all. The other cabins close to us were being used so we had not a drop of water. Start your shower and have shampoo in your hair and then NOTHING! We found that around 11 am it could be possible to take a shower and then oh yes lunch and little ones nap! Hey, can you guess how much time we had to do much exploring? Thank You! My daughter did email the owner and was actually quite kind in her remarks and asked for a partial refund. Not to much to ask as that hot tub in the master suite by the way did look nice, however do not try to fill it! The owner did not answer her email. Surprised? Nope!
