About Vacasa, CA - Lake Tahoe Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Perfect Place

It was in the best location, not too far from Squaw and Alpine! The lodge had all the amenities needed to enhance our stay especially the gas fireplace. We do look forward to staying again when we are in the area!

This cabin was in a great location with basic amenities and super clean. We would stay here again. Vacasa was very responsive to my request for a hairdryer.<br />

Thank you!

Great long weekend stay in Tahoe!

  • 4 of 5

My husband and I planned a long weekend trip with two of our friends and found this nice home to keep us warm through the night. Overall, the stay was great. We had what we needed to make breakfast before heading out for the days, the location was great for the places we visited and the space was more than comfortable for the four of us. The missing star is due to the cleaning situation (which really isn’t a big deal, but is the one thing that would have made the stay perfect). The cleaning fee is pretty hefty given that the instructions suggest that you clean everything before leaving. We left the space nearly as clean as we found it (we couldn’t run the laundry because there wasn’t any detergent and we didn’t clean the tubs and floors). Also, upon our arrival, the dryer was still running and we had to fold a very large load of towels in order to have any to use. Like I said, no big deal, but still details that add to the stay. I would recommend to others though.

January Stay

  • 3 of 5

A nice home, everything worked as it was supposed to, as represented. Disappointed that decision-makers waited PAST the last minute to take care of things that could have been done in advance. To get a call that carpets were still drying is frustrating, past the check-in time. I'm sure there will be an excuse....a read through previous reviews has one expecting more of the same. Given the fact that the house was not occupied prior to our stay makes one think that procrastination is to blame.
