It is a spacious home with lots of room to relax. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 baths on the main floor and 1 bedroom upstairs. It has a nice sitting area in front of the gas fireplace. We are located in the heart of the Ozarks with so much to see and do. The trout fishing is great at the Roubidoux river in downtown Waynesville. Canoe, kayak and rafting float trips are a fun way to spend a day on the river locally. Devil's Elbow is a must see scenic drive on Route 66. Downtown Waynesville offers restaurants, pubs, wine cellar, ice cream and candy shops. Also, the Old Stage Coach Museum is a great place to visit.
There are four golf courses close to the home. Lake of the Ozarks is just 50 miles away. You can enjoy outlet mall shopping and fun on the lake.
Bass Pro Shop of Springfield is only an hours drive.

About Brenda Lewis
My family moved to Waynesville when I was a small child and I graduated here. I grew up as a high school principals daughter so I knew many people in the school system which was a large part of our small town. After graduation I relocated to the Lake of the Ozarks where I owned and operated a retail nursery, greenhouse, florist and landscaping business. I then moved to Columbia, Missouri for a few years where I got my start in real estate as a leasing agent at a large property management company. In 2001 I returned home to Waynesville and purchased a fitness center where I enjoyed helping people to become healthy. In the meantime, I purchased the rental property and now just own and manage rentals full time. I have years of experience in the business.
Brenda Lewis purchased this House in 2003
Why Brenda Lewis chose Waynesville
I purchased this property in 2003 and has been a long term rental but decided to furnish it in May, 2015 and make it a family vacation home mainly due to families needing a place that they can be together when coming to Ft. Leonard Wood for graduations. Also, people who travel across the states on Historic Route 66 enjoy staying in places along the route.
What makes this House unique
This property is conveniently located to town but has the laid back country feel. It's so relaxing to sit on the front porch and watch the wildlife. Brenda Lewis

Perfect for BCT graduation
Brenda was helpful. Everything was comfortable, we enjoyed our stay!
Everything you could ask for.
Like others, we stayed in this home for an Army graduation. There is no better way to go so you can all be together but still have your space. Brenda is a great communicator and helpful in every way. The kitchen is fully stocked for the incidentals that are inconvenient to purchase for a short stay. Great assortment of spices and even condiments in the fridge. Plastic wrap and ziplocs, too. We questioned if there was a crockpot for cooking while gone for the day, and yes, she has that, too. Stairs to the upstairs are steep so be careful who you plan to put up there. No restroom up there so potty calls in the night time may be a challenge for some. There's only one shower so that included some pre-planning. There are lots of towels, washcloths and a hair dryer. Brenda has a great office area set aside for help in planning your trip. She has a map of the area that was extremely helpful. She lives adjacent to the home so she's available for any questions or needing help in any way. The only thing she was unable to help with was MAKING THE RAIN STOP. LOL Other than that, Brenda and her home are worth every penny. Thank you for everything, Brenda! Keep doing what you're doing to make life easier for travelers. We're so thankful we found your property.
PERFECT! Our family was able to spend time together all under one roof!
We had a fabulous time staying here. Our son graduated boot camp on 12/7 and staying here allowed us to enjoy our family day with such ease and relaxation. We even invited some of his Army buddies/friends and their family and grilled out. Everything from the grill to pans, silverware, plates, etc. was available to make the experience super convenient and enjoyable!! Brenda even had cards and games available in which we also got to take advantage of.
Thank you Brenda for the wonderful opportunity for us to make such wonderful memories!
Great home for family time with your soldier.
The house was perfect for what we needed. We were coming to make some home cooked meals for our soldier for Thanksgiving weekend. He was able to play some basketball and wiffle ball with his family and friends. It was easy to access the base from the house and would recommend it to anyone going to see their soldier.
Great place for Army Family Day!
Great place. Brenda is great. Made the trip more enjoyable.
First family trip
We had an amazing stay! It felt just like home Thank you for everything from SC to MO couldn't have picked a better place to see our soldier after 3 months
Location
We are in the heart of the Ozarks. Located just 5 miles from the west gate of Fort Leonard Wood through a scenic drive to post. The Veteran's Cemetery is on the way. We are less than 2 miles from the brand new cinema.
