About Vacasa, MA - Cape Cod Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Large accommodation in pretty good shape

 • 4 of 5

Although we were only a group of four there was plenty of room for more people in respect to beds and living. Cupboards were well stocked with everything you need. Although it would have been nice to have a booklet with suggestions of where to go and what to see. Thanks for an. Enjoyable short holiday.

Barnstable stay

 • 4 of 5

Overall this was a pretty nice house to stay in although we did run into a few problems. The house did not have much outdoor seating and there seemed to be chairs missing from inside as well. If the house sleeps 8 people I feel there should be seating for 8 people as well. We also had difficulty using the tv and had a hard time getting ahold of someone to come fix it.

The distance to the beach was good. Only about a mile. It's 20 dollars to park so we had one family member drop everyone off with our beach stuff and then they would walk down to avoid paying for parking. It's also close to downtown shopping and restaurants. Lots of options for eating. Overall the house was clean and comfortable and in a good location.

Would stay again!

 • 5 of 5

Great spot! Stayed here with a group of 8 girls for a laid back bachelorette weekend. The house was clean and equipped with enough linens and towels. The private beach was just what I'd hoped for- a grassy area for our group to do morning yoga and a little sandy area for a nice evening hangout. The house is a close 10 min. drive to restaurants/bars and larger beaches. The only negative was there were only 2 patio chairs on the deck- I'd recommend bringing your own. Although you could bring the kitchen chairs or stools out too. The grill was also a little hard to get started but some friendly neighbors lent us matches. Loved the outdoor shower. Overall great stay and would recommend/stay again!

Our stay in Cape Cod was wonderful. Our house was very spacious, and clean. The location was quiet and close to town and the beach. We would definitely stay here again!

Very disappointed

 • 2 of 5

Although the house is cute there is a lot of disappointment within the house.

The house says for 8 guest yet there is only a table that fits 4 people. So it's not convent to have a meal with your whole family. The outside porch was super dirty and it only had two chairs. We had rented a movie to watch one night to find out that the DVD player doesn't work. We bought food to cook on the grill for lunch and when we went to make lunch the grill was already out of propane so we couldn't grill. The third night in the house we were watching tv and we saw a mouse run out of the kitchen cabinet that has the water tank in it.

Thankfullly we weren't at the house a lot of our stay, but for the price asking I was completely disappointed.

Talked to vacasa about the inconviences and they refused to refund any portion of the stay to make it right.
