About Teresa 8287350996
I have lived in western NC and east TN all my life. I attended college at WCU and UT. I grew up in Graham County and returned home in 1995 to work as 4-H agent. I worked with 4-H youth for 17 years. Following that I worked in tourism for the Town of Robbinsville for three years. Currently, I work in after-school for the local school system.
Teresa 8287350996 purchased this Apartment in 2010
Why Teresa 8287350996 chose Cheoah
I inherited this property from my parents in 2010 and have been busy updating things since then. The building was built in the mid-1960's and initially housed two apartments and a hardware store. Eventually the business closed and two other apartments were finished. My parents provided monthly rentals for local families for over forty years. After I went to work in tourism in 2012, I decided that maybe I would prefer offering the property as a vacation rental. In 2015, we had two apartments ready for rent as vacation rentals and added another in 2017. We hope to have the other one finished in 2018. I live on the property in one of the downstairs apartments that was completed in the late 1970's.
What makes this Apartment unique
I hope our guests will be excited to be part of a new and hopefully expanding project. We are fairly new to the vacation rental busy and are making updates. It would be nice to take our guests on this journey with us. I am excited to hear their ideas and suggestions as we embrace this new adventure. Since I have worked in the region and in tourism for several years, I can help provide ideas and suggestions for things for your friends/family to do in the area. Each apartment has a notebook that offers suggestions on local food, area activities, and special events. Finally, the driveway will be gated in 2018! Access codes will be provided to registered guests.

Perfect place to crash after riding the mountain roads
The place a perfect if you will spend your time in the mountains the whole day and return for a little bit of hang time but mostly to clean up and sleep.
We were 3 guys riding motorcycles in the area and we spent long miles on the road during the day. So all we wanted to do at night was drink a cold one and talk about tomorrow, then hit the hay. This place was super clean and very convenient.
Thank you Teresa well be back for more.
We enjoyed our stay and walked to breakfast in the morning and dinner in the evening. About .5 mile from downtown and perfect base camp for riding in the mountains.
Comfortable and affordable
Teresa’s place in Robbinsville is a great place to rest up after long days of riding. It was clean, comfortable and is close to local restaurants offering true southern cooking. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality. We’ll be back!
Thanks for the positive review. I look forward to having you stay with us again!
Restful and roomy
Nice place to be after touring the local countryside and riding the twisty roads on a motorcycle,
Thanks for the review. Reviews are important to getting guests to stay. Since I am relatively new in the vacation rental world they really help.
Have a blessed day,
Great Place To Stay
I stay at Teresa's place (Apartment 4) with a couple of my motorcycle buddies. She was very accommodating and helpful in discussing food options and other questions we had.
We could not believe how large the place is. All three of us mentioned that it was larger than the 50's ranch houses we grew up in. The place actually reminded us of a 50's ranch, with it's hardwood floors and old style cabinets. There are concrete steps to go up so you do need to be careful with them. The place was very clean with plenty of towels.
There's also a nice lawn in the back and she provided us with some lawn chairs. It was a nice place to have a few beers after a long day of riding. She has a fire pit as well but you would need to bring your own wood.
Robbinsville is not a large town but there's several lunch or dinner places you can want to. We had diner at Lynn's and The Hub and were both very good. For breakfast we ate at Nana and Pops and also at Huddle House, which was full of bikers.
I'll certainly stay at here place again. There's actually an old stone garage on the property that she wants to turn into a motorcycle garage for her customers. It would actually made a great background for a motorcycle pic!
Owner worked hard to make sure the property was ready for our arrival. We booked with very little notice. She was very accommodating! Property was clean. However, kitchen light was burned out and was not replaced. It was ok, we were not there very much as we had plans to be out most of the weekend. Thank you again for helping to make our weekend possible!
Graham County is a natural destination for outdoor adventure. There are miles of hiking trails in the area, including part of the Appalachian Trail. Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest is a hot spot for bird watching. Rafting on the Nantahala River is only 30 minutes away. Local boat docks offer boat and jet ski rentals. The county has four lakes and a wide variety of streams for fly-fishing. It truly is an outdoorsman's paradise.
