We visited Manasota Key in April of 2015, loved every minute of our stay! Decided to look at condos and bought one in one of the coolest places on the island. Our condo is an end unit that overlooks Lemon Bay, and when standing on the lanai look left, you can see the Gulf! We have the sunrise and the sunset on our lanai balcony! We bought our condo to share with others, and also enjoy visiting. We feel like we're at home every time we are in El Galeon East #201

Our end condo in El Galeon East is a second story end unit with panoramic views of Lemon Bay. This view from the balcony is so picturesque with sailboats docked in the distance, dophins swimming by, manatees poking their noses out of the water, blue herons and pelicans landing on the dock... one can sit here all day, every day.

Wonderful relaxful vacation
This Location is Everything!
We had a great time staying in Teresa’s condo on Manasota Key. The location of the condo can not be beat! It is within walking distance of a few restaurants. A couple of them had live music every day. The beach is right across the street and the Stump Pass Beach State Park is just down the road. The condo is clean and well stocked. The view from the balcony is wonderful. We saw dolphins, manatees, and lots of birds. Sitting on the balcony was our favorite way to start and end our day. We hope to come back again!

Absolutely loved staying here. It was very clean and well maintained. We mostly fished during our stay but liked that the beach was just across the street. We loved having access to the dock to keep our boat, which was very fisherman/boater friendly; water hoses, electrical outlets, and place to clean fish. Teresa was very quick to respond and easy to work with. My only complaint is I wish there was an elevator because there were a lot stairs for my elderly mother to climb. Our overall experience was awesome and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We definitely plan on coming back and would stay here again.

This was our 2nd year staying at this property. Ref our review from June 2017. It does not disappoint and remains in excellent condition. The entire complex is immaculately maintained and there is no evidence of any damage from the 2017 Storm season. As before making arrangements with the owners was a breeze. Responses and communications are quick and accurate. We have definitely found a vacation spot for the foreseeable future. Having onsite boat slips are a must for our trip and they are in great shape. There is 15a electricity for temporary use and water hoses for a quick rinse. Trailer storage is not allowed due to limited parking, but we found a local marina to launch at and store the trailer for a reasonable rate. We will be back!
Enjoyed our stay at El Galeon. Very clean, bright condo with a great view overlooking Lemon Bay. Beach across the street. Short 10 minute walk to store for coffee/paper in the am. Very short drive to some very good casual restaurants (Farlows, Wine Bistro) to name a couple.
El Galleon is the complex this unit is in. This building faces the wonderful Lemon Bay and is very large and lots of boat activity but still relaxing. Across the street there is another building in the complex that faces the Gulf and provides easy beach access for you. Both have large swimming pools. Also assigned parking spaces. The laundry is clean and neat and requires $2 in quarters for a washer and another $2 for a dryer. The complex is an easy walk to 3 restaurants and bars,
The unit itself was large enough for my husband and I. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck.
You could definitely hear the music from the nearby restaurants when outside but not when inside with heavy sliding doors shut. The living area has comfortable sofa and chairs and kitchen is adequately stocked. Teresa did supply hand soap, paper towels and dish soap.
There were two issues:
1. The king sized mattress was a 5" foam mattress over twin bed box springs. The mattress was hot.
2. The living room 24" tv was way too small. We watched basketball games on our ipads because it was clearer. The bedroom tv was not that much larger.
Teresea was very quick to respond to emails and seems very friendly.

RENTAL AGREEMENT: The Gallagher Family and Tenant agree as follows: Tenant is at least twenty-five (25) years of age (an “adult”) and will be an occupant of the unit during the entire reserved dates. In addition to Tenant, other authorized occupants may be family members or friends of Tenant. Should any unauthorized persons occupy or use the Premises, Tenant shall vacate the premises immediately without any refund. No key code will be given to anyone who is not an adult. RESERVATIONS: May be placed in advance, but are subject to the rates in effect at the time said reservations are placed. The property will be ready for occupancy at 3:00 PM eastern standard time on the beginning date of the lease and must be vacated by 10:00 AM eastern standard time on the ending date of the lease. A late checkout fee of $50 may be assessed if Check-Out time is exceeded. Reservations will be made official when rental agreement and payment are received. DEPOSIT: A deposit totaling 50% of the agreed upon Total Amount is due with acceptance of rental agreement. If reservation is being made within 60 days of arrival date; then full payment is required now. Payment of deposit shall be deemed as acceptance of this rental agreement. Deposit must be made using a visa or mastercard credit card. BALANCE: Balance is due 60 days prior to arrival date. Payment must be made by major credit card. Personal checks will be accepted upon approval; if funds are not credited within seven days booking may be cancelled. If damage is present when tenant checks in, owner must be notified in writing (email: firstname.lastname@example.org) or call 484.995.6895, within 24 hours of arrival. CANCELLATION POLICY: Should you need to cancel your reservation with more than 60 days notice prior to the arrival date, a cancellation fee of $200 will be charged.
