About the property

Nestled in popular Lower Lake Rd District, a superb and well-located lake area

This 2 story year round home (1,124 square feet) located on the shores of Cayuga lake is the perfect place for your Finger Lakes vacation. It comfortably sleeps up to 4-5 people offering lake views from all rooms. The open-floor plan on the lake level makes a great location for family gatherings, relaxing and dining. The second level consists of two bedrooms, one with a king bed and another complete with a queen/XL bunkbed, both having access to a full bathroom with a tub/shower combination. For guests, there is full size sleeper sofa in the living area with a high quality memory foam mattress. An additional 1/2 bath is conveniently located off the kitchen. For an additional fee of $50, Linens (100 percent cotton sheets and towels) could be provided. Pillows and blankets are provided at no additional cost. King and pull-out mattresses were purchased new in May 2015; bunk bed mattresses a Tuft and Needle, and purchased in May 2016.

For your comfort and convenience, Jacob's Landing features heating, central air conditioning, a washer/dryer combo, dishwasher, microwave all the kitchen amenities of home. Parking is conveniently located for 3 vehicles close to the main entry. Exterior living spaces can be found on dock and on the deck that extends along one side and front toward the lake.

The private waterfront (25’) has a lot to offer. A 24 foot private dock features a lift for both your power boat (4000 lbs. Max) and your PWC. Swimming is excellent and fish can be caught directly from the deck and dock. The beach is mostly break-wall and there is a ladder off the dock to a shallow area for easy water access, as well as at the end for deeper water access. The water depth runs from roughly 6 inches (most shallow) to roughly 3-3.5 feet deep so please use caution when diving at end of dock!

For your dining pleasure, there are many nearby restaurants that can be accessed either by boat or car, and the reputable local Deerhead restaurant or the delightfully quaint Wolfies Marina restaurant right on the lake, are within a short distance away. For shoppers, many business services can be found nearby in charming Seneca Falls, home of the famous Women's Rights National Historic Park and at the Premium Outlet Mall located in Waterloo. About David Soule

I grew up spending my summers on Keuka Lake where my parents now live year round. The Finger Lakes have a very special place in my heart. I teach ESL in a neighboring community. A world-traveler, I thrive on many cultures and languages. I speak French and Spanish fluently. I welcome guests from other lands!!

David Soule purchased this house in 2015

Why David Soule chose Seneca Falls

This place is within close reach of so much of the Finger Lakes...Ithaca (Cornell University), Geneva (Hobart and William Smith Colleges), Canandaigua...and Seneca Falls is a real gem with its local wineries, lake living, and many recreational opportunities with the vast waterway access. Having recently surprised my son, I am very glad.... It is my heart, soul, and hard-work that provides me this blessing for which I am most grateful. My goal is to make your stay very enjoyable. Hope you will return and provide me with quality feedback, too!

What makes this house unique

I told my realtor that when I look out the windows, my blood pressure (although not high) seems to drop, and I feel more relaxed. The sound of the water bathing the shoreline is so peaceful, and the views are just amazing. So far, I've witnessed a storm come across the lake (wow!), and my neighbor Jennifer has told me to be on the watch-out for Bald eagles and Osprey, which she has personally viewed from her front window, and perched on the large Oak tree between our houses...ohh!! The trees are so beautiful with so much character!

Perfect place to relax, enjoy Cayuga lake and wine.

  • 5 of 5

Great little place right on the water. Nice deck and dock to lounge on. 2 kayaks available to play with, along with a couple small tubes. Less than a 10min walk to beach or restaurant. Many winerys and a few breweries within 30min drive. Owner was very easy to deal with. Quick and easy communication. Place was stocked with everything you need. Would definitely go back.

My Happy Place!

  • 5 of 5

Perfect for a small family or a couple. My husband and I spent most of our time alone and it was perfect. Quiet, relaxing and easy to block out the rest of the world. LOVE the location on Lower Lake Road. The water front was great as I love to be in the water! The decks were great. David was excellent and attentive to everything, quickly and thoroughly. He respected our privacy and communicated with me throughout the year and during our stay. The neighbor is very nice and we felt very welcome. I walked the road everyday and people waved and were courteous. Love the proximity to Seneca Falls, the outlets, Sauders, Syracuse and Rochester. Love the Deerhead and Wolfy's restaurants on the same road. Beautiful inside and laying in bed looking out at the water will be my happy place now. Thanks, David!!!
