Modern In-Town Studio/Loft - Sleeps 4
Grow Avenue Loft is a modern and tranquil getaway. Completed in 2015, this newly constructed studio apartment was designed by locally acclaimed BC&J Architects. You'll feel at home with all the carefully appointed amenities, complete privacy and the convenience of being a mere 5 minute car/taxi/bike ride or 15 minute walk from the ferry terminal.
The studio's main living area has an airy feel with a 20 foot fir-lined ceiling and maple floors. Its stocked gourmet kitchen has full-sized appliances and an eating island with quartz countertops. Six people can comfortably dine around the locally sourced wood table. The living room offers a new American Leather queen-size sleeper. The flat screen Smart TV has basic cable and HBO. Guests can also access and download Netflix and Amazon movies from their own accounts on the TV too.
The bathroom is outfitted with Grohe fixtures and a large walk-in shower. The loft has high-speed internet/WiFi throughout. Heating and air conditioning is provided via a ductless system and a large ceiling fan allows for continuous air circulation. The generous windows provide great cross-ventilation, lots of light and privacy with shades that are operated from the bottom up.
Sleeping arrangements include a brand new queen-sized mattress in the loft area accessible by an integrated library ladder. While a cozy nest, the loft has a 7 foot high ceiling and halogen reading lights. Guests will feel like they are floating above the canopy of trees below. There is also the option of sleeping on the queen-sized American Leather sleeper in the living area. All bedding is hypo allergenic.
Out the front door, guests are steps from the Waterfront Trail or 5 minutes from the town center. Winslow has many attractions including the Saturday Farmers Market, a lovely marina district, the highly acclaimed Bainbridge Island Museum of Art, boutiques, galleries, pubs, restaurants and bakeries. Guests can rent paddle boards, bikes and kayaks. Winslow boasts a newly remodeled Town and Country Market for groceries on par with the quality of Whole Foods. Everything you need is within easy walking distance.
People come to Bainbridge Island to escape the hustle and bustle of Seattle and for the beauty of the island. Yet, guests are only a 35-minute ferry ride away from downtown Seattle. Ten miles long, the island is easy to explore. Bainbridge offers many attractions including garden tours, an active performing arts center, golfing, walking trails, the Bloedel Reserve, biking, kayaking, and art walks. If you're without a car, you can rent bikes downtown, call a cab or hop a ride through Kitsap Transit Bus service called B.I. Ride. Bainbridge can also be used as a base while exploring other parts of the Olympic Peninsula easily accessible via car over the Agatepass Bridge.
Please Note That We Limit Stays To Children 11 Years And Older.

Modern comfort
We have stayed at the Grow Loft several times and we always love it. It's a fairly small but super efficient space which is designed so well that it feels much larger. It's lovely and calming to look at and stay in. It's also very clean and convenient to town, the ferry and walking.
Modern Hip Place in the heart of town!
If you want to be close to town and stay in a cool, hip place, then this is the place to rent. It's perfect for a couple and if you want to have some friends over, there is a table for 6 as well as two bar stools. It's beautifully furnished and has all the amenities. I highly recommend!
Beautiful, modern, clean and convenient to lots of fun activities
My friends and I enjoyed our stay at the Grow Loft. The coffee and 1/2 & 1/2 was provided--a nice touch! Such a beautiful modern studio. Whether you have a busy agenda or just want to stay in and be cozy, this is the perfect place to stay while you enjoy Bainbridge. I will stay here again!
Excellent
Beautifully designed, well appointed and a great location. Our third visit. We love it here.
Sleek, clean & oh so welcoming!
This is my second stay at Grow Ave, and I can't imagine staying any where else!! A few minutes walk from downtown & right around the corner from an amazing new trail. Grow Avenue is the only place I'll stay when I'm on Bainbridge-It's a dream!
A perfect and peaceful retreat
From the moment I walked into "The Loft," I knew it was special. The owners paid attention to every detail--from the custom-made table, to the lighting, to the large windows and window shades, to the ladder and loft. This place is the very definition of "well-appointed"--it is so thoughtfully and tastefully designed and furnished.
Our four days there felt like being in a (very well-stocked) treehouse in an enchanted forest. Every morning I'd walk along the nearby trail (which you catch just outside the door) to the water, and then to coffee; every evening, we walked to dinner. It is close to town, but just far enough to feel removed. It's perfect as a home base for adventures on the Island--or as a retreat for reading and napping.
We stayed here during a very difficult time, and it helped us find a few days of peace. That peace was physical as well as emotional. This year I developed a severe allergy to dust (which I'd never had before), and that greatly exacerbated my asthma (which had previously been very minor). It's been hard to find places where I'm not set off by something. But this property was so clean and pristine that I felt totally fine--and I slept better here than I had in months. I'm so grateful to Theona for having built such a beautiful place--and for allowing us to stay. We'll definitely be back!
Location
Bainbridge Island is located a mere 35 minute ferry ride from downtown Seattle. Yet, when you walk off the ferry you'll feel miles away from the hustle of a large city. Our vacation getaway is perfectly located so that you don't even need to drive on the ferry as it is a 15 minute walk or 5 minute taxi or bike ride from the terminal. From the property, guests can walk to the quaint shopping center, Winslow, where they will find a great selection of boutiques, restaurants, bars, bakeries, and art galleries. Town and Country Market is our local grocery store which is on par with the quality offered at a Whole Foods. The Saturday's farmers market is a must see and provides a lovely selection of local produce and crafts. In Winslow, guests can rent kayaks, paddle boards, and bikes to explore. For the more adventurous, Bainbridge can be "basecamp" for visiting the Olympic Peninsula (we are connected to the west with a bridge). Once on the Peninsula, one can take advantage of mountain hikes, quaint town visits, lavender festivals and national and state parks.
