Lovely room with a kitchenette, private bath

This beautiful, historic, four-story brick townhouse in the South End in Boston was tastefully renovated in a traditional style that provides modern day convenience and comfort. The room is accessed from a lovely Victorian central stairway; and is equipped with a private bath with shower, kitchenette, a comfortable queen bed, telephone, high speed Internet, and individually-controlled window air conditioner. The lovely room is beautifully decorated and is filled with antiques and appointments that evoke memories of the home's original era. The kitchenette has a microwave, small refrigerator, sink, tea kettle, and a coffee maker. Hynes Convention center and is a 20 minute walk to the Freedom Trail or a quick subway ride. It is near many shops and restaurants and a quick walk to the Back Bay Subway and Amtrak lines with easy access to the Boston Convention Center (BCEC) and other areas of Boston, Cambridge and Brookline.

Great location in the South End

The apartment was very nice, one large bedroom with kitchenette, overlooking the street. The location is close to shopping, bars, restaurants, grocery stores.Would stay here again.

Very Nice!

Fabulously located between Back Bay and Southie, this 3rd floor apt. (#6) is just what we needed. Safe, attractive neighborhood w/ great restaurants (Do not miss B&G Oysters!). Back Bay station is 2 blks away. Flatscreen TV and window air conditioner.

Note: no elevator, extremely tight closet space (sacrificed for small kitchen), but enough drawers. Large windows can use some repair. FlatscreenTV and window air conditioner included.

If you don't need new and fancy, this is a great choice!

Wonderful location and so glad we stayed here

We stayed in #3 and it was only one flight up so not hard to manage with suitcases. The room is not big but it is clean and comfortable with a double bed and two chairs and table, clean bathroom and a small kitchenette that was great for keeping breakfast items and some beer on hand. We would recommend the property as it is very walkable and very safe feeling. The small restaurant on the corner has great food and the manager gave us great food tips as well.

Nice little apt in a tourist area

My husband and I stayed 3 nights/4 days. The apt is small and quaint. The building and rooms are beautiful and well maintained. Jose was a very nice manager and gave us helpful tips on where to go in Boston to sight see. He was very accommodating and hospitable. We stayed in room 5. We only had 1 minor issue, our cable was out for the first 2 days. However, we were not in our room long enough to really be concerned. Do NOT bring a car as there is NO parking except for paid lots, meters and garages. The garages and lots being very expensive to park in. We walked everywhere and ended up paying just under $80 to park our vehicle for 2 1/2 days in a car lot. Saturday's after 8 pm and Sundays are free parking at meters. Overall, it was a very wonderful experience and I would recommend a stay at this location. One last thing, be prepared to climb perhaps up to 4 stories for your stay. Kept us fit. Enjoy!

Manager's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
