We have guests from every country, all over the world so our rentals are all SELF CHECK-IN. You are provided the property gate code and unit door code so you can check in any time starting at 3:00 PM throughout the night until the next morning. We are located right off the freeway, just 2 blocks South of the 101 and 1/2 block from the city bus stop. You may also rent the property for parties, photography and location shoots.

Very cool place. Exactly as the pictures show
I loved this place. It is exactly as it is described and as the pictures show. I stayed in the Hollywood loft. It was clean, modern, and very comfortable. Yes there is a rule book, but it's nothing more the common sense and common courtesy you would use when staying at someone's house. There were no outrageous rules or anything.
I had the chance to interact with Cheri on a couple of occasions. She was nice, friendly, and easy to talk to. Very accommodating.
One thing I would say is if you book either of the lofts, just know that the wall separating the units is pretty thin. You can hear your neighbors very clearly if the unit next to yours is occupied. I didn't have an issue with it but some people might be a little distracted by it.
All and all it was a great stay. I would definitely stay here again.

What a pleasant experience. Great host and the 24/7 access to the Jacuzzi was awesome. When I first arrived I was a little aprehensive, but once I entered the property I was blown away. Peaceful and relaxing.

No regard for the customer experience!
4 middle aged adults made this 2 bed choice in early February. Cheri the manager, who is also the owner and lives in house right on the property is only interested in the "money"she can extract from her guests with the help of her "rule book". We endured this place for two nights as we were visiting friends living on same street couple blocks away. We came back from visiting one afternoon and brought friend back to help us drop off some luggage the airline had lost and this friend wanted to see our place thinking she might want to refer friends of hers in future. Our friend was onsite for all of 5 minutes. Later that day, upon our return we were flagged down on driveway and told that we had violated guest/visitor policy and that we owed her $10 for this friend of ours coming on to property without permission. The only reason Cheri requests you to get permission is so that she can charge $10 per head. Cheri also tried telling us that we had brought extra guest nite before when we checked in-this we assured her was NOT true. There was no reasoning with Cheri as our friends 5 minute drop in was going to cost me $10. Next issue was the sofa bed (more like torture rack). The photo of the red couch in the picture must be from 10 years ago as it is a complete cracked leather wreck now and the mattress I can pinch my thumb and finger touching together as there is absolutely NO support or comfort at all. Two great hotels nearby and same price would have made much better experience (and breakfast would have been included) without the attitude of this owner.
Any host would expect "middle aged adults" to ACT like middle aged adults. This guest BOOKED and PAID for 4 PEOPLE.
This is my home. Not a hotel. Only REGISTERED GUESTS are allowed onto the locked, gated property. This is reiterated in the listing, the check-in instructions, the unit information/rule book, AND a huge sign posted on the door of the guest entrance for those who say they "didn't read it." 4 times. One would have to be a MORON or INCONSIDERATE to bring strangers into someone else's home.
This is also a business.These guests are disgruntled because they had to pay $10 due their own bad actions. EVERY guest who sneaks and gets caught claims "but they were only here 5 min!" Reverse the blame & blame the host! They should be grateful they were not made to leave for violating the rules. By middle age, they should know in life there are rules, wherever you go, whatever you do!
I am always happy to accommodate my registered guests who have the courtesy to call, email, or stop by my onsite ofc. to ask permission to bring additional people on the property.
NOT A DEAL IN THE END - HORROR
This place is deceiving!!! much like Hollywood pretty in the picture but in reality not so! we could hear EVERY word EVERY flush of the toilet every crumple of paper and sadly EVERY ugly argument they had of our neighbors it was beyond uncomfortable. The couch in person NOT as photo it is a beat up, the leather so heavily flaking it brushes the floor everywhere STAINED mattress upstairs the bed the mattress topped high falling off CREAKY - the woman who runs the place Cheri tries to sell her book about being a PIMP in Hollywood and places money above all - I accidentally made a human mistake of check out at 11 she tells me I am charging you $25 every half hour(she did) I WOULD have understood another guest coming but when she offered it to me another night saying available I KNEW to leave - what?! you do not have another person coming I am here with children and your only concern is if I stay or you will charge me $25 every half hour with NO ONE coming and not even say hey human mistake take a half hour gather your things NOT I'm charging you I'm charging you. When I accidentally in my HURRY to not get charged and collecting my childrens' belongings picked up her mis typed flimsy $1 instructions folder with SO MANY INSTRCTIONS your head turns, "do not do this do not do that" and the woman bragging about being the EX WIFE of a person I never heard of - SERIOUSLY it is in her first sentence in the instructional manual, I am the ex wife of....I returned it to her mailbox the NEXT morning and she charged me $50.00 also said she was missing a fire poker and charged me another $10 - WHAT?! and finally she DID charge with NO human compassion I USUALLY do not leave reviews but when she tried to bribe me to leave a positive review I felt it my DUTY to tell the truth - this was my very first time using VRBO and it was not good at all and will look to ALL reviews in the future please if you have an experience like mine share to help others - this woman is a money grubber is full of drama - my email from her has garnered her me pulling from my four children to address her and this should not happen again.
The only thing deceiving was THIS GUEST & HER REVIEW filled w/ lies.
* When she booked w/ us, she lied re: the # of guests claiming/paying for 3 when there were actually 5 (her & 4 kids.)
* She hid the fact they had a dog which she left alone outside whining, howling, barking (despite our coyotes warning in our information booklet.) I even offered to bring her dog into my home until she returned. She lied & said dog was inside the unit.
* She complained about other guests.
* Day of c/o housekeeping arrived to clean unit. There she sat, claiming she didn't know it was her c/o date. I even gave her the option of extending her stay but she chose to go back to the motel she came from. She held up housekeeping by checking out 1 hr. late.
* Housekeeping said she left the place in a filthy mess.
* During walkthrough we discovered she'd taken our unit Information Booklet & fire pit skewer. She threatened me w/ a bad review if I deducted $ from the stolen items from her S.D.
* After the SD claim/deduction, she sent me a hateful, vicious, ranting email disparaging me, my medical issues & my deceased family members that she read about in "About your host" in the information booklet.
* She left this scathing review filled w/ lies in retaliation for deductions of her S.D. as a result of her own acts of theft, lies & malingering!
The only truth was re: the leather sofa peeling, after use by hundreds of satisfied guests. We plan to replace it w/ the sofa from "Jim Morrison's (The Doors) last known U.S. Residence" when we have a vacancy in the unit, which stays booked solid!
User friendly and fun!
We will definitely stay here again! It was cozy and easy to use with lots of privacy. The bed was comfortable and so was the pull out sofa. Thank you for such a neat place!
