A traditionally built Oak Barn made from sustainable green oak, Geothermal underfloor heating, 50% of the electric is from renewable source, Irish well water and with stunning mountain and sea views one of the most beautiful and rural locations in Europe, if you want to escape it all this is the place for you. We now have up to 70MB broadband speeds free of charge. minimum 2 to 5 day booking depending on season.
1 bedroom upstairs plus sofa bed, 1 bedroom downstairs, w/ kitchen, bathroom and sitting room.
Please note this is a cosy Barn for 4 adults Max. 800sqft , Ideal for couples, room for a family of 5/6 not suitable for infants and toddlers.

We are 50 minutes from Dublin Airport 1.5hrs from Belfast, 1 hour from the ferry port. Transport from Dublin airport can be arranged although car hire is recommended.
The Oak Barn is surrounded 180 degree by the sea, close to a sandy beach at Port and a hidden beach which you can walk to through the forest. We are 5 miles from the famous Baltray golf course. There are lots of local amenities ie. sea fishing, salmon fishing, golf, outdoor karting, celtic canoes, sup boarding and night lantern canoeing etc. We are 2 miles from the historical viking site Linn Duachaill, and only 15 minutes from the historical town Drogheda. If you are a walker/jogger we are very close to the picturesque village of Carlingford where you can have your picnic and see the most stunning views from Slieve Foy mountain.
In the summer our lovely neighbors Eugene (one of the 3 Irish Tenors) and John hold concerts in their garden right next door under the stars it's sells very quickly future dates tbc we can arrange bookings and a food hamper with champs and wine ..
