"Tara" is located in the heart of the one of the oldest seashore resorts in the country. Sitting just a half block form the ocean and walking mall you are just moments away from some of the finest beaches, shopping and dining establishments in Cape May. If you are looking to just sit back and relax while reading a book or enjoying a few cocktails the porch is a favorite. From there you can also watch the horse drawn carriages pass by while listening to sounds of the ocean.

Fantastic Location and House
The location is fantastic. 1 block from the mall and 2 blocks to the beach. The house is very well maintained. The owners are extremely helpful and very quick to respond with any question you may have. Really a great place to rent and wonderful people to rent from.
We truly enjoyed our visit. Great location! Close to beach, shopping and restaurants. Really enjoyed the porch in the evening.
Beautiful house, can't beat location!
Great stay! House was clean, quiet, and great location to beach and town. Richard was very quick to respond when we had questions and went so far as to provide sheets (our bad, didn't realize we had to bring linens). We especially loved sitting on the porch at night. Wonderful family vacation!
Great Vacation Week at Tara
The house is located in a great spot, close walk to the beach, 1/2 block to shopping, restaurants and Washington Street aka the center of Cape May. The house had plenty of room for the seven of us and the rooms were all large with nice high ceilings, very roomy We all loved the front porch to relax each morning and afternoon...had ceiling fans to cool us off as well. The kitchen is well equipped with all you need to cook and eat, but recommend bringing paper plates since there is no dishwasher. Look for the towels supplied in each bathroom as well as in the dryer (since renters have to wash and dry those towels before they leave, that is where we found our "missing towels" upon our arrival and also did the same when we were leaving). So look in all cabinets drawers and washer dryer area and you will find what you need. We contacted Rich when the WiFi was spotty, so let us know in the main floor bedroom was where the modem was to reboot it. The house has lots of winding stairs so not for elderly of very youg children. Nice big grill in the backyard and space to hose off sandy beach chairs and yourself too. Loved the house, had a blast and Would definitely stay again.
Location, Location, Location
This house has the best location in town, steps from shops, restaurants, and the beach! The house was immaculate and as described by the owner, who was easily accessible and helpful when needed. We loved hanging on the porch and watching the evening activity go by. This house is not for you if you have any trouble with stairs as you will constantly be running up and down steep, winding, stairs. Only things I would add to enhance our vacation experience would be an outdoor shower and a dish washer. Loved our week in this house and would definitely rent again!
This house was very clean and updated nicely in the heart of Cape May. We enjoyed our stay and would rent again from this very responsive and accommodating owner.
