Location and Quiet too so close to town and Skiiing

We have been coming to Breckenridge for years and have stayed at a variety of properties in the summers, falls and winters. First, the location cannot be beat for skiing. Very easy access to Peak 9 (short walk) and easy to get to Peak 8 via a few lifts. We were a little concerned that this location would be loud given it is right in the middle of everything. This is actually one of the more quiet locations in all of Breck...believe it or not. Mostly families with children staying at the Village complex. The underground parking is super too. Also, the way, the property is built, there are no long hallways to attract noise. Each floor has only a few units.

This particular unit could use a little updating but it wasn't bad. We would have given it 5 stars except for two things. 1) The kitchen was not clean at all when we arrived. The surfaces, sink, pots, pans, coffee maker and toaster were filthy. 2) The coffee maker and toaster need to be replaced...they are old...really old (I think my grandmother had the same coffee maker in the 1970s) and spending $20 on a new toaster and coffee maker every few years is a small investment to make this a great property.

Otherwise everything was great....also some nice views of Buffalo Mountain from the living room. Plus very easy and well light walk to and from town at night....most places in Breck are not this convenient.

Clean and spacious

Our stay in this condo was very nice. There is plenty of room and very clean. We really enjoyed being so close to the lifts and downtown.

Fantastic location

Very comfortable, clean and well-appointed condo in a perfect location. A block to downtown stores and restaurants and even closer to the nearest lift. Our teen-aged sons could walk to the lift and my wife and I could walk to the stores and restaurants in a minute. Really do not need a car. Beautiful views from all the windows: Mountains, quaint downtown and Blue River all visible. We had stayed in this building (the Wetterhorn) previously and loved it's location just as much this time. Cannot imagine a more convenient spot.

Location, Location, Location

Excellent location for the skiers and non skiers in our group! No need for a rental car. Everything is walkable or on the (free) bus routes.

Highlands ranch! Colorado

A great weekend away for us

PERFECT!!!! We loved it!!!! Having stayed at several properties at the Village we were familiar with the fabulous amenities, but must say how pleasantly we were surprised re: the size and comfort of your particular unit. I loved the view from the master bedroom / balcony in the morning. How gorgeous! Listening to the river below was so soothing. The kids loved having their own "suite" away from the parents. Everything in the kitchen was more than adequate for cooking multiple meals. The kids loved the puzzles and books. the flat screen tv was nice as well. Looking forward to staying during ski season!!!!
