From every detail of communication between the owner and I before arrival to the home's impeccable character with twenty-first-century decor and design, I felt at home and yet still upgraded at "Hip Haven." The home's energy was unlike anything one would expect. Hip Haven embraced each member of my party like it was their own house, yet it felt cleaner than a hotel, more comfortable than a second home, and a true host or hostess' dream. The house had everything and everything aplenty. We never felt short, and we never needed room service. We could entertain on two levels outside, but there were three areas to do so. We could be in the living room, deck, and fire pit and all remain connected. I wanted to smile between that type of rare hospitality met with the same type of flawless communication I experienced. The distance is affordable for a Lyft/Uber, and even more quaint regarding our niche community. Hip Haven is a destination by itself and is the exact runway you need for the experience that Austin has to share.

The perfect accommodations for Donnaroo

We rented this home for a bachelor party of ten guys and could not have been more pleased. The house easily accommodated all guests, and in no way felt cramped. The house itself was well kept, both internally and externally. Despite visiting amidst a 4 day heatwave topping out at 106 in the afternoons, the backyard area of the home was still serviceable, thanks to great natural shade. Still 106 will wear on you, but the home's central air provided instant cooling relief.

The home is located in a residential neighborhood offering a tranquil setting to recharge the batteries, while still only an 8 minute cab ride downtown. Supermarkets, convenience stores, and pharmacies were also very close by.

The home's management team was great, specifically Jade, who answered my laundry list of questions pertaining to the home, and even stopped by to personally welcome all of us. The provisions were more than ample, we didn't even use the additional toiletries we purchased.

All in all, we came to Austin with high expectations, and HIP HAVEN more than did it's part in delivering on that. Their was some initial hesitancy in booking since the home does not have a pool, but honestly it did nothing to dampen our time. If anything, it encouraged us to go out and explore the city of Austin, which we did...hard.

Should I ever find myself lucky enough to be back in Austin, I will be certain to check HIP HAVEN or any of NestVR's available properties prior to booking any accommodations.

Perfect house for group trip

I rented this house for my sister's bachelorette party and it did not disappoint. It is so cute and comfortable and the pictures are really representative of the house. We had a couple minor issues come up but the property management company (specifically Jade) was really responsive and helpful in addressing everything right away. The location is great - not walking distance to downtown areas but only a short drive away to any part of the city. The house was really perfect for our group!

Best place to stay in Austin!

Who would have thought that 14 girls would fit in a house so perfectly?! Hip Haven did! This was THE MOST perfect house we could have stayed in for my bachelorette party. The open floor plan was the best for us all to hang out all together during the day and the rooms fit us all comfortably. We made the two bathroom situation work, but don't ask me how.

The location is pretty much ON POINT. You are SO close to downtown, Rainy St, 6th St., and South Congress AKA all the hot spots. It's a 6-8 minute Uber/Lyft ride to any of the above. Our contacts Tracey & Ashley were quick to respond whenever we needed them. Basically, we couldn't have been happier.

Side note: There are a lot of detailed rules to make sure the house is in order when you leave; however, it's not hard you just have to make sure you read it! :) That's why the house is in such impeccable shape.

In the end, I've already told people to stay here whenever they're in Austin. I would love to go back and stay again I just need to find more friends. Austin is the best city EVER and Hip Haven makes it that much better.

Great place for a group for ACL!

My group of 10 had a fantastic time at this awesome house. We particularly enjoyed the central location which lent itself to easy ubering around town. The house itself was just as advertised; clean and true to all pictures. The folks managing the house were super helpful and available for all of our questions throughout the trip. We will certainly be coming back next for ACL!
