Nice place. Close by the harbour.
We would recommend this place to anyone. Not far from St. John's. Nice older home and well stocked by Matthew.
Very pleasant quiet fishing village with two hiking trails. Property is clean and comfortable and the host is very helpful.
Lovely home, great location
We had a wonderful stay at this lovely, traditional home. It was a beautiful location, right in the heart of the very small town of Bauline, facing the ocean. Comfortable, plenty of space, stocked with books, movies, and plenty of amenities. Highly recommended.
Beautiful location, quiet & peaceful, breathtaking views along coast line
Our family of 7 enjoyed our stay at LeGrow House. Although it is an older house, it was equipped with everything we needed to make a comfortable stay. Matthew was very responsive to all of our questions, and even dropped by with a mattress pump when we couldn't find one at the house. The deck was large enough for our family to eat comfortably. We enjoyed hikes along the east coast trail, beginning a few steps from door. There was also a nice public swimming spot on nearby duck pond. Our only "wished for" amenity was a queen sized bed!
The house is great. Loved everything about it.
This house is wonderful. Clean. Quiet. Comfortable. Perfect.
My family enjoyed all of the history in the area. We also enjoyed the peaceful nature that surrounded the house. The mountains, trees and nature pathways. Wonderful.
Great location. Close to Saint John's but hidden away.
My family and I stayed at the house for four nights and found it to be a perfect spot to stay and visit St. John's and the surrounding area. So comfortable. Cozier than a motel or housekeeping cottage.
The house has all the appliances needed to make all meals including a BBQ including many condiments. Go to Costco (~15min) or a grocery store on your way in and load up. While hanging out at the house, there is plenty of room for everyone with games, books and old movies (DVD and VHS).
Bauline is in a nice secluded spot, it is not a touristy area (a good thing) and you feel part of the neighbourhood, plus there are ocean views not far from the front door. We had a great time.
