Ask a questionAbout Marianne Wood
We are an adventursome, fun loving, retired couple who love to travel & experience what the world has to offer. Bob is a retired firefighter who stays busy building and remodeling when he's not doing "honey-do's". Marianne is a semi-retired RN who does disaster relief nursing & medical missions. Both have a passion for animals and rescue. We love the mountains, water activities, hiking, biking, kayaking; any activity that communes us closer to our world and all it has to offer. Experiencing good food, great wine and wonderrful people are all on our list of continuing "must-do's".
Marianne Wood purchased this Cabin in 2009
Why Marianne Wood chose Beulah
Our Beulah Cabin is our mountain retreat away from it all. We always wanted a place in the mountains without having to travel all day to get there. This was once a one room hunting cabin built in the 1920's. A back sitting area & BR were added on by the previous owners but otherwise, remained largely very basic. We took the opportunity, envisioned its potential, & completely redid both the outside & inside adding the master suite & bath all on our own. Now we own a piece of mountain paradise ready to be shared by those who appreciate quiet, clean air, the serenity the area as to offer as well as the close proximity to town and many Colorado adventures.
What makes this Cabin unique
We love the quiet, the visiting wildlife, the weather (it can be 10-20 degrees cooler in the summer there). The ability to hike, bike, snowshoe, cross country ski and appreciate all that nature has to offer is wonderful. We're centrally located enough to get to Pueblo for whatever we might need or want to do and also close enough to enjoy points of interests in other mountain communities a well as the city amenities of Colorado Springs & Denver.
