This gorgeous cedar home was built in 2006 in a location that offers the best of privacy and unparalleled views. Sited high on Buck Mountain, your spacious and cozy retreat sits on 10 quiet, forested, private acres. Regular visitors include deer, bald eagles and numerous song birds, and on the way to the property you are very likely to see wild turkeys.
While the adjacent land is steep, it acts as a wonderful buffer and provides an absolutely stellar northern view. You will enjoy panoramic views of neighboring Matia, Sucia and Lummi islands as well as Point Roberts, Richmond and downtown Vancouver, B.C. The mountain views are also astounding. At night you can see the lights from the various ski lifts that operate during the ski season.
You will live comfortably in this spacious, open-concept home with a great room, propane fireplace and two stories of windows to enjoy the beautiful views from nearly every room. It is truly a perfect setting for every season. You can barbeque on the awesome 700 sq ft deck with infinity glass panels, and finish up your day by soaking in style in the hot tub while enjoying the view under the stars.
Upstairs you will relax in your master bedroom suite with a king bed and private deck, and enjoy waking up to the magnificent view. Watch a movie or sleep additional guests in the cozy tv loft. On the main level you have a private queen bedroom with views to the forest. For some peaceful relaxation there is an additional private room (functioning as a library) with a stressless chair and of course more spectacular views. Everything you need to prepare a gourmet meal is at your fingertips in the spacious kitchen with eating bar and dining space all taking in the gorgeous views.
