The apartment consists of a large kitchen (equipped with fridge/freezer/full size oven and range, toaster oven, microwave, coffee maker and kitchen essentials), dining space, living room with full-size couch/internet-connected TV/armchairs. The bedroom features a queen size bed, nightstands, side chair, luggage stand and closet. The bathroom has a large shower, toilet, vanity. Linens, towels, and shampoo, hair dryer are provided.
Guests will have full access to the 1bd apartment and a parking space at the end of the driveway. There is a small outdoor sitting area near the apartment door also available for guests. The garage/workshop space and the main house are off-limits.
Interaction with guests
We will be present on the property during your stay. We will be available for questions/concerns about the property or for suggestions/recommendations about our town.
We love our location! Our immediate area has grocery stores, the UNCA campus, trails, and botanical garden (free), greenways, restaurants. A short walk takes you into downtown and all that has to offer. If you bring or rent a bike, you can easily access the River Arts District, Grove Park. A quick drive takes you to Biltmore Estate, Village and south Asheville. That's all within 10-15 minutes. If you want to drive a bit further -- we have loads of suggestions for hiking or sightseeing!
Downtown is easily accessible by walking or driving (there are loads of public parking garages downtown). Off-street parking is included with our listing. If you are flying in and not renting a car, we recommend you use an Uber or take an airport shuttle into town.
Other things to note
We provide off street parking in our driveway at the orange cone. However, if you are uncomfortable backing into or out of driveways with sometimes low visibility, we encourage you to park in the street. There are usually at least 3 open spots directly in front of our home.
