Great Setting and view.
Family really enjoyed our stay.
Views, decks, antiques abound.
The location couldn't have been more perfect; second house in on the left once off the ferry. Ample parking against the log/rock facade of the house. Hardwood floors make the house homey and the antique wood stove in the kitchen is awesome. Quilts and family photos make you feel right at home. The German steins line the staircase to the upper sleeping areas. The master suite upstairs has a skylight over the bed and a gigantic tub/shower combination. Three multilevel decks and one wrap around deck made viewing the Puget sound so pleasurable. We loved our stay.
We’re gald that you enjoyed your stay. We look forward to seeing you again.

Beautiful, relaxing home
What a beautiful place to stay and relax! We walked on the beach a few times a day and enjoyed the views from the deck. Anderson Island doesn't have a lot to do, but we were there to have some down time with family, so that's OK. We have two teenagers, and I'm glad they are not younger, as the house really has a lot of knickknacks and antiques. The upstairs room really does get too warm during the day because of the skylight. I wouldn't be able to take a nap in there during the day, but it cooled off fine at night once the sun went down. The beds are comfortable, there is room for everyone to have their own space, and the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed.
Glad you enjoyed your stay. Look forward to seeing you again when you need down time..

Nice setting. A little too much perfume in the bathroom. Kitchen well equipped.
Lovely. Wish more and longer trails to hike. Overall, very pleasant experience!
This place is really awesome
We loved our stay in Annie's house, the view is amazing, it's a great place for relaxation and family time. Thanks for hosting us!
So happy that you had a great relaxing trip.
We look forward to seeing you again.
Very comfortable home with amazing views and outdoor entertaining space
We had a great weekend at the Burgs' home. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and condiments, spices, etc. The home was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. There were plenty of towels, pillows, blankets and even several roll-away beds for extra guests.
The weekend we stayed at the house we had temperatures in the low 90s. The main floor of the house stayed comfortable and we were able to capture the breeze coming from the Sound with strategically opened windows and doors. The upstairs bedroom was a bit too hot and couldn't be cooled even with the window air-conditioning unit. The skylight above the bed just let in too much sun and heat. It would be a good idea to have shades installed on this skylight. At the time of booking we were not aware that the owners occupy the bottom portion of the house. That fact was not apparent in the property description. It would have been good to know this up-front just to frame our expectations. Having said that, I also have to say that the owners were very inconspicuous and gave us complete privacy. We've barely heard or seen them. I just feel bad that we may have been a nuisance to them, as our family is a bit loud and we had a new baby with us.
In the Tacoma area you will find Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium. A wonderful place for a full day of family fun. Visiting Pike Place Market in downtown Seattle is a must see place that is enjoyed by all. Mount Rainier for day hikes or skiing is 90 minutes away.
