Breath-taking at its Best!

Our family was fortunate to have found Gary and Avril's listing to host our family reunion August 11-16th 2015! When I spoke to Gary and stated there would be 13 of us from all generations and 6 of them under 4...he never hesitated and openly welcomed us.

The moment we arrived at this wonderful estate our expectations were exceeded and dreams were about to come true....

We had five fun filled days enjoying the magnificent grounds and amenities. There was guitar nights around the cozy firepit, popcorn nights in the media room and gourmet dinner nights in the kitchen. A dream come true and sounds of happy children.

The owners Gary and Avril were outstanding throughout our stay and saying Goodbye was definitely the hardest. Waking up each morning to that "view" was an understatement and probably the most beautiful scenery ever. Our family promises to come back hopefully for another special occasion or just to regroup and enjoy the fruits of their hard labour!!!!!!

I can't recommend this beautiful mansion enough and our time spent here will be some of our fondest memories!!!!!!!!

The splendor and character of this estate is nothing short of amazing!! Owner, Gary Anderson, and his family took over 4 years to build this luxury estate. Surrounded by acres of meticulously kept grounds and gardens, the breath-taking views made the trip worth it. This private setting combined with impeccable attention to detail with its’ modern designed quality craftsmanship throughout the estates’ style is a perfect match for families, couples, and corporate retreats.

If you are looking into having the most relaxing and peaceful retreat, this is the perfect location! This estate is 10,000 sq ft and has everything you need, want and more. There is even a heli-pad for the rich and famous who want to get away from the rat race of city living. Nestled in the mountains, the space takes full advantage of natural light and views of the mountains and the Saanich inlet below.

This Estate is truly about getting back to nature in a private and serene setting that has 7 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms and accommodates up to twenty guests.

With its perfect balance of tradition and technology, it’s comfort, warmth, and truly magical atmosphere is wonderfully seductive. Being in the master bathroom you feel like you are in heaven. The infinity heated pool and infinity hot tub is so huge that the pictures don’t do justice. Every detail has been considered from the lighting of the landscaped pathways to different colored lighting of the pools and hottub and firepit areas. There is a spacious deck to gather around the fire pit by to toast some marshmallows or have a glass of wine and enjoy the beautiful sunsets. The gourmet chef’s and a butler’s kitchen made cooking an adventure. There is just too much to list of things you can do on this property. My kids enjoyed the comfortable of 2 home theater rooms. Fine linens and accoutrements offer splendid nights of rest with nothing but the quiet sounds of nature as your soundtrack.

This luxury estate has many perks and modern amenities right at your fingertips.

I strongly feel this place can be year-round fun for families and corporate retreats. Pure bliss awaits – come discover the best of Victoria for a first class experience! We have been fortunate enough to travel to some of the world best resorts, and this one will always rate in our top 5!! If you think it is a tad pricey, trust me it was worth the indulgence and very comparable rates to luxury estates in North America and impossible to find anything better.
