About Lisa Hahn

We have lived in Richmond, VA for a few years and have a young son named Leo. We are both from the Washington, DC area, where we have family and many old friends. My family has been in Northern VA since the 1950s, but Peter grew up traveling all over due to his parents' occupations. His parents are from Northern Italy, so we visit Italy at least once a year. Our common love for snowboarding has taken us to Colorado, Montana, Tahoe, Canada, and the Alps.

Spending quality time "alone together" is probably our favorite pastime, but we also love hosting friends and sharing good food! Our relationships with each other, our family, and our friends are our top priorities.

I went to VA Tech, and Peter has become an honorary Hokie after hosting so many awesome football tailgates!

By the way, Peter speaks Spanish and Italian fluently, in addition to English, so let us know what is easiest for you.

Why Lisa Hahn chose Fan District

We love our neighborhood! The Fan is a beautiful, walkable historic neighborhood in a vibrant little city with great food. Our house is the right mix of classic and modern, and we are in love with our huge gourmet kitchen. Come enjoy the neighborhood and all that Richmond has to offer!

What makes this townhome unique

A little kid lives here, so you will find items you need for a child such as a pack-n-play, highchair, baby tub, sippy cups, etc. Let us know if you're bringing small children, and we can discuss what we can provide.

Beautiful home in the Fan District, conveniently located

  • 5 of 5

This was our second time renting this property ( see 8/22/17 review) and we thoughly enjoyed our stay again. The home is immaculate, well maintained and the owners, Lisa & Peter, are very reponsive to any questions you may have. We love the Fan and enjoy walking through the area and checking out the local stores and restaurants tucked away on side streets. This home’s location is within walking distance to many attractions or within a short drive. Walk through Careytown, lots of shops and restaurants, checkout the historic Byrd Theater and catch the Wurlitzer pipe organ show before the movie. Flying Squirrels games are entertaining and won’t break the bank.

RVA has so many restaurants to choose from you’ll suffer from Yelp overload. Checkout Joe’s Inn for breakfast, the Secret Sandwich Society for lunch and the Tobacco Company Restaurant, scheduled to reopen in late August for dinner.

We will be back in RVA and will look to return to this wonderful property- our go to place in the Fan. Thank you Lisa & Peter for sharing your home with us.

Lovely weekend at this home in Richmond

  • 5 of 5

My family and I had a lovely weekend in this very welcoming, cozy, and family friendly home. Lisa was so helpful with suggestions of things to do and had a very informative notebook of specific places in the area. The house is situated conveniently near many things we wanted to do and walking distance to the lovely Monument Avenue. I am so glad we were able to stay here and recommend it strongly !

Nice accommodations in Historic Richmond

  • 4 of 5

We vacationed here the second week of June with 2 adults and 3 teens. Home was in a very nice location near Monument Avenue. Off-street parking was a big plus as street parking in the fan is challenging. Accommodations were very nice and worked well as a home base for our Virginia travels. Kitchen was great and well-apportioned. We would definitely recommend for an in-town retreat.

Beautiful home in a great location

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay at this home in the Fan District. It is well appointed, spacious and in a great location; close to all; with private parking around the back of the house. We have stayed in the Fan several times at other properties we thoroughly enjoyed but this home is our new first choice when visiting RVA.

Victorian elegance with all the modern conveniences

  • 5 of 5

That's what 2009 1/2 West Grace St offers its visitors. From the huge rooms with high ceilings, to the smart TVs and children's toys, this home would be a great place to rent for a family vacation. This home is roomy and comfortable, and close to all the restaurants amd nightlife. The kitchen is something to see, with its beautiful cabinets from floor to ceiling, stocked full of anything you could possibly need to serve your meals and have a cocktail after. Take youir pick of either the sitting room or the parlor to have a chat or watch the huge Smart TV. The oversized master bedroom, as well as the other two bedrooms are all very comfortable. The shady yard is equipped with a sandbox for the kids, and a hammock for relaxing. There is a Starbucks within walking distance if you don't want to make your own coffee in the great kitchen. This area is a melting pot of cultures, so take a walk and explore all the stores and restaurants nearby. You can be sure to find a place to suit everyone's taste. We recommend that you walk the Slave Trail and take a canal boat tour. Very interesting and informative. There are many museums that are free of charge, so be sure to explore the area.

Our stay at Lisa Hahn's house was an experience we will always remember. We recommend that you make your own memories there.
