Why Gina Grenier chose Cape Cod

We know we are so lucky to live in such a beautiful area. We enjoy giving others an opportunity to visit here and have a great vacation. The cottage is close to Cape Cod Bay, Town Neck Beach, and Sandwich Village, all great places to visit. You can ride the canal or easily get on the highway to visit other cape cod towns, Plymouth or head up to Boston or Providence. It is a safe, quiet neighborhood close to the Boardwalk, Creek and ocean where you can kayak, canoe or swim.

This simply decorated cottage was clean, comfortable and spacious. My sister and I enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and the beach. Perfect location for some peace and quiet!

Great little cottage

  • 4 of 5

This little cottage was perfect for our needs. Great location, priced right for what you get, very clean and comfortable. Owner communicated very nicely. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it is dated, the mattresses aren't as comfortable as I would like, and the tub is quite stained. But again, we were on the go, the price and location are great, and the owner provides a comfortable stay. We will return!

Owner's Response: Thank you for your review. It is important to us that guests are comfortable and enjoy their stay! The porcelain tub is original to the house and I have tried so many cleaners to remove the stains, with no success yet. We will definitely check out the beds one the season is over. So glad you enjoyed your stay!

Adorably quaint

  • 5 of 5

I absolutely loved this little place! The pictures don't do It justice. It was well maintained and extremely clean. Gina is wonderful to deal with as well. My only complaint was that I didn't get to stay longer.....

Gina's Beach House..

  • 4 of 5

Lovely location..5 minute walk to beach and the stunning views of the boardwalk. Well kept, clean. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating is that the bedroom with the full bed's door sticks to a great degree, and a full size bed did not fit my husband and I very well. Better to offer a queen since we are not big people. Love love love the enclosed porch! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Owner's Response: Thanks for your review. So glad you had a great vacation, and I love the porch also. It reminds me of my grandmother's house!! We appreciate you letting us know about the bedroom door, will check it out tomorrow. Also, thanks for feedback on the bed. Gina

Great locale. Roomy two bedroom .

  • 4 of 5

This cottage is in a great location. Easy walk to the beach or boardwalk- we did this multiple times daily. Short drive to many historic sites, beaches, food, shopping and surrounded by beautiful nature. For yummy eats try Ice Cream Sandwich, Uncommon Cafe for lunch, Sams Seafood. The cottage itself is roomier than advertised and is on a private shady lot that is much appreciated on hot days.

Comfortable Cottage in a Wonderful Location

  • 4 of 5

Much roomier than the pictures show, this cottage is perfect for 4 or 5. The cottage is quite clean and the beds comfortable. The kitchen is very basic but perfectly adequate. The cooking options are stovetop, microwave or toaster oven, but we found that did fine. There is a grill, but no propane although it can be purchased up the street. We elected to do without. The neighborhood is very peaceful, and the grocery store is literally 2 minutes away. The cottage is just a short walk down the street from the beach and we noted that 2 sand chairs and an umbrella are provided which would prove very handy in warmer weather than we enjoyed. There is no central heat or air-conditioning, but space heaters and fans are provided. We used the space heaters quite a bit as the weather was cold and rainy, and they did the job. Gina is easy to contact and very helpful. She even graciously mailed back 2 coats my daughter left behind! Sandwich is convenient to everything. It was an easy drive to Boston and Quincy, and Plymouth is just 20 minutes up the highway. In the other direction, Provincetown and the National Seashore are easy to access from the cottage and a scenic drive. Cape Cod is lovely even in the rain, and we used our one sunny day to bike along the Shining Sea Trail which afforded a surprising variety of scenery. Corner Bike Shop in Falmouth was a perfect place to rent bikes. The Sandwich Glass Museum is a great rainy day outing for people like us who really like history. Comfortable and clean, this cottage is in a great location. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again or to recommend it to friends and family.
